Please let the storms stay away...

With the wedding getting ever so closer, I hate all the damn tropical storms that are forming.

I feel bad for all the people along the Gulf Coast and I hope it doesn't go to them, and turns a different direction. I don't want anyone to get hit with it. I checked the weather and it looks now like the new Tropical Depression 8 or it will become Tropical Storm Hanna today, looks like it might come to Jacksonville, far off, but still a possibility.

We had Lilly in the spare bedroom yesterday because we thought the roofing company was coming to look at the ceilings. When I let her out, she had her collar up in her mouth. It had been there for a while because her paws were wet with her trying to get it out of her mouth. I had to cut her collar off her. I felt so bad for her. Her mouth was kinda swollen on the sides last night. She wore herself out trying to get it off her, and she passed out for about 4 or 5 hours last night. She seemed perfectly fine afterward, but for the swollen. It probably traumatized her. We decided that she will not go into a bedroom all day again when we are at work, and at least if she does, it's without a collar.

Hump Day

It's Hump day, which means we're on the downward spiral to a 3-day weekend!

Then it's a 4 day work week. Then next week, I only work 4 days since I'll have Friday off before the wedding.

I think next weekend is when everything is going to get really busy. I guess we're going to go try on our dresses one last time next Saturday, we should, it'll be one week to the wedding. WOW, it sounds weird saying that since we've been waiting on what seems like forever for it to get here, and now it finally is.

Next Friday here at work, their going to have a mini-Bridal Shower for me at lunch. Free lunch with presents! Yeah! I've been here technically over a year now, so it's nice their doing something to show the appreciate me.

Friday, I'm going to the doctor's to get a refill on my pills. I HATE DUVAL COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT PEOPLE. I was supposed to go last Friday, but with the damn storm, everything for the government was closed. I sat on the phone for over 25 minutes on hold, and when the lady was finally finding me an appointment, I had to put her on hold to take a call here at work (Good thing I did, it was the owner here), the bitch hung up on me. Then I called back, and sat on hold for at least 13 minutes, then I said screw it, and hung up. I called back yesterday morning, and I was no joke on the phone for over 30 minutes trying to schedule 1 freakin refill appointment. And I don't appreciate the damn bitches being rude to me. They probably make more money than I do, and if you don't like your job, don't take it out on me. It pissed me off. I'll probably be there forever just waiting to go back for like 15 minutes. I also found out that my Humana Insurance, doesn't even cover the pills. Not looking forward to that Friday morning.

Hopefully, we'll be able to get our marriage license afterward. This will be our second attempt to go it. We were going to last Friday, but with the damn storm couldn't. The first time, I got off at 3:30 pm, went home, we got on the motorcycle and headed up Roosevelt to the Clay County Clerk of Courts. We were waiting in line, and the lady called us up. I said we were there to apply for our marriage license. She said they shut down their systems at 4:00. I was like what time is it. She said 4:05. Why the fuck would they stay open till 4:30 and shut down their systems at 4. Makes absolutely no sense. So let's hope, it goes as planned on Friday.

Tuesday...

I'm so sick of rain. It has rained everyday for almost a week now. But I guess that's life in Florida in the summer. I checked the Farmer's Almanac yesterday to see what their prediction for the weekend of September 12-15, and they predicted rain and wind from the gulf. My mom was not at all happy with that, and neither am I. I hope it doesn't rain that weekend, because if it does, it will really mess up our plans. So lets keep our fingers crossed it'll be SUNNY!

This week, we're going to try and finish up most of the stuff for the wedding. The last major thing Travis and I have to do, is put the centerpieces together, combine the rocks, and cut the flowers. So it's getting closer. I need to call and find out about my dress, they still not have called me yet, and I only have 2 weekends left till the wedding. Lets hope everything else goes as planned!

Back to work

Boo for Mondays...

I so enjoyed not having to work for 4 days!

And I come back today, and my stomach is messed up. I had about 4 beers last night with Travis before bed, and now my stomach wont quit hurting.

I haven't written in a long time. Wednesday we got sent home early, Thursday morning we lost power for a couple of hours, Friday we lost power for a couple of hours, then when we got our power back, we didn't have cable or Internet. It didn't come back until Sunday afternoon, it was so boring without either of those for 48 hours.

It didn't flood to bad at the apartments. One morning, the parking lot was flooded because a drain was clogged. But the ditches did fine. Our motorcycles came out good too. We had 2 leaks in our ceiling that I have to tell the office about today. So all in all, it wasn't too bad.

We got alot of wedding things done. We got all the programs put together, 65 of them, now we just need to finish the bows on the front, which I need more ribbon for. We got our cake and cup cakes picked out, we got our flowers ordered from the florist. We're getting the sign made up. Mom wants to get everything together next weekend, as far as ceremony and reception goes.

It's getting close, we have 18 days.

I hope I start to feel better. That would be a good start.

I hope this week goes by quick, but I doubt after the 4 1/2 days we just had off!

What's going to happen?

I just found out that we're closing 2:00 today, and will be closed until Monday. It's good they're letting us off because of this storm, but it's WITHOUT PAY! I know it's going to hurt Travis and I money wise, so we'll have to see how it goes. We have money saved up for the honeymoon, but it's going to suck so bad next week. I'll have to see if I have to come in on Friday, but I dont think so. Everyone is trying to get things done. So it'll be a crazy day!

Tuesday...

It's Tuesday, and I'm ready for the weekend.

After work, Jessie and I are going shopping together. So that'll be fun! I get some new clothes! Its for my birthday with the money his mom and dad sent me.

I worked out last night. I did some exercises on my own. It goes along with a new Self program. So we'll have to see how that goes.

We found out last night that Tracy wont be able to make it to the wedding. He's in New Mexico for Border Patrol Training, and with how far he has to come, and only have 2 days, it's too much.

Which sucks, because we already have the wedding programs printed out with his name on it! 70+ of them. So, Travis is going to ask Adam if he wants to he wants to be a Groomsman, and have Patrick be the usher. So we'll have to see how this goes, and hopefully, they'll each have an outfit to wear. As far as the programs, Tracy was supposed to be there, and in a way he still will be, and for those who notice it's not right, then they'll know why, or they just wont care.

I'm ready to be done planning everything, and go on our vacation from life for a week! I also found out that we're not having brunch with his family on Sunday. I thought we were going to go have brunch, before they headed down to Orlando, and we went to Tennessee, but I guess not. Oh well, Travis will get to hang out with his dad on Thursday night, Friday, and Saturday.

I wonder what that Tropical Storm Fay is going to do. Now they have it going out at Daytona, and making a u-turn back to Jacksonville. Holy crap, make up your damn minds. But they dont know what the hell it's going to do. So we'll just keep our fingers crossed, that it's just a bunch of wind and rain!!!

Boo for Monday...

The weekend was way too short. And for some reason, everyone today is annoying.

We had a good weekend. Friday we had cake at Grandma's with Mom, Lea, Candice, Jessie, Bobby, Pam, Tyler, me and Travis. Mom got us each 2 shirts with jewelry, so that was fun.

Saturday, we got up, went shopping. We got his tux ordered, it's $109. He can pick it up on the Thursday before the wedding. I got 2 new bras from JCPenney. We were going to go to Victoria's Secret, and buy some lingerie, but there was way too many damn people there.
We went to Sonny's for dinner on Saturday, and we were both so stuffed. Sunday, we stayed around the house. We got about 20 programs done, out of 70.

On August 6, I signed us up on Free Credit Report.com to get us our credit score. I guess they have since changed their policy, so it's only free for 9 DAYS. I thought it was 30. We have 2 charges for $14.95 pending cus of their dumbass. So I called and asked them about it. They really pissed me off. First I got some foreign person on the phone. Then she wanted my credit card number to verify my charges. I was like, can't I give you something else besides my number for you to verify me. So I was very RUDE TO HER, and they cancelled our accounts. I can't wait to tell Travis about this. We do not have that extra $30, to balance in this week. THANKS DUMBASS FOR MESSING US UP!!

I'm so very happy it's FRIDAY!!!

I get to leave early today, we're going to go apply for our marriage license. Yesterday was a normal boring day. We officially have the room for our rehearsal party! I went yesterday and met with the couple who's in charge of it. It's the Moon Building at the American Legion on San Juan Ave. The room is plenty big enough, and you can walk down to the Ortega River. So hopefully, we'll have nice weather, and everything will go as planned.

I didn't get any presents yesterday, neither did Jessie. Bobby wouldn't even tell her Happy Birthday, damn terd. We might get one tonight at Grandma's. Oh well, what can you do.

So it'll be nice to leave early on a Friday! Toni said George is going to bring us pizza, so I get free lunch today! Yeah!

I hope Jessie has a better day today and weekend.

Happy Birthday!!

It's August 14, and it's mine and Jessie's 24th birthday. Woo Hoo! We're getting older, but we don't feel it.

I have to work today, boo hoo. Toni has to leave early for doctor's appts. and I have to eat lunch by myself. So I'll just pick up something and get some gas.

After work, I have to go to the bank, stop by Jessie's, go to the legion and reserve our room, and go by the Dollar Tree to see if they have the rocks we need for the reception. Then I can go home!

Tomorrow night, we're getting together with our mom, grandma, and sisters for cake.

So Happy Birthday to me and Jessie!!!

I hope we have good days and the day goes by quick!!!

1 Month!

It's August 13, which means there's only 1 month left till the wedding. I can't believe that. It seems like we've been waiting forever for it to get here. Everything is getting done and the next month will fly by.

Mine and Jessie's birthday is tomorrow. We'll be 24. I never pictured myself at 24. And here it is. Wow, we're getting old!

We're going to apply for our marriage license on Friday. We only have a few things left to do, mainly getting it already to set up for the big day. Travis is picking out his tux this weekend, and I get to buy lingerie for the honeymoon!
We're doing laundry tonight.

So hopefully this rains goes away before 5 o'clock!

Tuesday...

It's Tuesday. I completely forgot about writing in this. But then again, we had no phone or internet for over 5 hours here at work yesterday. Fun, it went at about 11:30, and we left at 5 and they were fixing it. So I worked on Wedding Progrms, cutting them out. There a pain in the butt to do. Everyone keeps saying what needs to be done, and Travis is telling what I need to look up and figure out. Too many little things to do, and only a month left. I can't believe that.

So I'm going to try and get the rehearsal room today, Bobby still HAS NOT DONE THAT YET. He's tried and nothing. So I can't wait any longer.
Bobby is an ass. He needs to get his ass off of his computer and be a real fucking husband. Instead, when things go wrong, he goes off on Jessie, and everything is her fault. Never his. He made a comment when he was mad yesterday about how they never should have gotten married and Jessie is a waste of space. He's the fucking waste of space, not her. Jessie needs to stand up against him. Then he said why they dont have sex is because she whine's and he doens't want to look at her. I know he was mad and said it in the heat of the moment, but he never should have told Jessie that. Our birthday is Thursday, and Bobby doesn't even give a damn about out.

I'm so happy Travis isn't like that. We never fight about anything.

I worked out last night, I did the Bridal Boot Camp video. Yeah Me!!!

FRIDAY!!!!

It's FRIDAY!!! YEAH!!! Now, if 5 o'clock can hurry up that would be wonderful!!!

We're meeting with Karen for the reception place to look at the vases for the centerpieces. Then, we might go shopping and buy the candles and flowers. Then Travis said something about going and seeing about picking out his tux. Maybe I'll buy some lingerie too! So Saturday will probably be spent shopping for the wedding. It seems all of our weekends here on out, we'll be busy doing something. It'll make the time fly by. I mailed Travis' mom the pictures of the dress fittings from last weekend. I hope she likes them, and I want her to feel included in things, even though she's in New York.

Travis said something about getting Lilly declawed last night. We tried to trim her nails, and she flips out. Hisses and bites us. So he said he didn't want to have to deal with her acting like that every week, and it'll be too much to have to take her and get it done once a week. I just hope it doesn't hurt her too bad, we'll only get her front ones done though. But then she can't scratch us or anything, and she's a complete indoor cat anyway. We have the box that my towels from Travis' mom sent me, and she sleeps on it and it's her box now. It's too funny. Maybe I'll look it up.

It's Thursday, and tomorrow is Friday! YEAH!

Not much to tell, I didn't work out last night, but I did clean house.

Lilly was sick yesterday, she threw up a few times, poor thing. She was so funny last night playing in the water in the kitchen sink. She seemed perfectly fine to me this morning.

We're going to try and start working out on weekends. At least a run or something.

They should have a dress memo go around the office. I can't believe no one has said anything about the way Christina looks today. OMG... She has a black shirt that doesn't fit, her pants are green and UNBUCKLED, and parted, and her gut with the stretch marks from her baby are hanging out!! We can all see it!!! How can you let yourself go out of the house looking like that. She has to see what she looks like when she goes to the damn bathroom. You can see about all of you in the mirrors!!! She should not be allowed to dress like that. If someone came to office, such as a contractor for one of the jobs, and saw her, they would get the wrong impression of our company. Most of the women here dress apropiatley for work, it's business casual. BUT YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER!!!

I can't wait for after the wedding, and find a new job. One where I will be able to do things beside sit in a little office and answer a telephone. I can't pee when I want to, I can't do anything. NOTHING!!! I see everyone walking by and doing things, and I feel left out. I have 5 years experience working in an office setting. I am worth much more than what they feel I'm worth and can do.

Toni feels the same way. So we should be gone out of this un-working, bad attitude, lazy ass place!!! Hopefully by next year!!!!

Hump Day!

It's Hump day, which mean's it's the downward turn for the weekend! Woo hoo!

This week seems long for some reason.

I went walking/jogging yesterday. I took my 2.5 hand weights with me, and I was doing arm exercises as I walking. That extra 5 lbs, seems like it weighs so much more when I'm jogging. So I'm going to go again today.

I'll have to wait till it cools off some, they say it's going to get up to 96 today and the heat index is going to feel between 103 and 106. Poor Travis, and all the men and women who work in it. Travis is in a shop, but it's not air conditioned and is a big warehouse.

We seem to be getting things done for the wedding, a little bit each week. I can't believe how close it is. Next Wednesday will be a month, and next Thursday is Jessie and mine's 24th birthday. I want to go see Batman, and I get to buy lingerie for the honeymoon, and we'll go out to dinner, and I want to get a few other clothes too.

Hopefully on Saturday, we'll be able to get the centerpieces bought and done, and we have to go pick out Travis' tux when we go to the mall, and meet with an Officiant.

My mom was going to email me a picture of me in my dress from Saturday, maybe she will today!

Tuesday

Same shit, different day....

It's always the same around here. Oh well, I wont be here forever and at least I have a job!

I worked out last night. I've been doing the Big Day Boot camp. It's 20 mins. and I like it. I also did a few mins. of the Buns of Envy, and I feel that today. It was the same exercises over and over, and they didn't talk as much as the other girls do. But I might do it again, since I need buns of envy.

I've been doing good with my eating too. So hopefully, I can keep exercising and eating right.

I had a wonderful weekend!

Saturday was our dress fittings, and everyone looked so pretty! I forgot how pretty my dress is on me! They have to hem it, pull in the top around the boobs, and the french bussel. The bouquets look good with their dresses, it adds just the right amount of red! The other baskets and Calla Lillis look wonderful, Mommy is doing a good job with them.

We ordered our napkins yesterday, and picked up the stuff for the Programs.

This weekend, we should be able to buy the centerpieces, and it's slowly coming together. Travis has to pick out his tux still, and we have to figure out about the rest of the guys, and who we want as an officiant, and ushers. Only 6 weeks to go!

I didn't work out, but I'm going tonight. I was pretty good with food this weekend too, and I'm going to try and be good this week too, and only eat healthy things.

I rode my motorcycle around the block! I've only had it a week, and I can go around the block by myself, with Travis riding on his. I still try to get ahead of myself, when I take off, and stall then. But I'm still learning, and Travis said he's pleasantly surprised by how good I'm doing. I still have a long way to go, but at least I can take it on the road by myself!!

Hopefully the week is a good one and goes by quick!
