Getting to know you...

Got this idea from Jessica

1. What kind of athlete has the best body?
I would have to say Motocross Racers. They have to be strong and sleek to ride like they do.
2. Are you a planner or a procrastinator?I would have to say both. I make lists for everything (I have to worst memory) but I'm also a really big procrastinator.
3. Diet or regular (soda)?I love Dr. Pepper, I'll drink both.
4. What's your one "must have" for Fall?Cinnamon broom to make the house smell like Fall.

5. What's your favorite fast food restaurant?
McDonalds

6. What do you think is the sexiest profession for a guy?
Wow, this is kinda random... idk
An office profession is sexy if they have to dress nice.
And a hands on job is nice when they get all dirty.
I can't decide on one.

(I agree with her)
7. Did you wear braces?Yes. I got them on in 5th grade, I was 11. My mom wanted us to have them done with before we got to high school. I had them for 2 years. I also got glasses that year. Total dork.

8. Would you rather have a guy that's super sexy or kind?
I would have to say kind. If he's not kind, why does it matter if he's sexy?

Day 8 — Your favorite internet friend

Facebook. I don't have too many friends that live near by anymore. So it's nice to be able to get on Facebook and be able to see what is going on in everyone's life.

Day 7 of 30 Challenge

Day 7 — My Ex-boyfriend/crush

I'm not going to put my ex-boyfriend on here. That was a really bad time for me, and I don't even want to see a picture of his dumbass.

So, I'm going to put a celebrity crush on here.
I love Orlando Bloom. He's so hot and I loved him in Pirates of the Caribbean.

Day 6 of 30

A Stranger

Do you ever notice if someone who don't know show's up in your picture? Or how many other people's pictures we're in?
Crazy thought there.

This was Sunday, April 26, 2009 at the Spring Race in Talladega, AL. The Aarons 499 had 142,000 fans that day. And here we are among them.

Day 5 of 30

Your Dreams
I would love to look like this. I now weigh about 138, which is below the 150 I was during the winter. I need to exercise more and tone up. I only want to weigh about 130, but it'll be hard toning up. I'll be 26 in a week, and I want to look good.

It's been a while...

It's been a while and a lot has been going on.

I passed my CNA license on March 17.

Then I got laid off on March 18.

Since I've been unemployed I've lost about 8 pounds (according to our scale here at home). I don't eat as much and I'm not stuck behind a desk. I also started running yesterday. I'm hoping I can keep up with that.

I filed for unemployment, and since I've been unemployed for over a month now, I still do not have a check. They had my reason for collecting as me being fired from my last job over 3 years ago, not by being laid off from this one. So that disqualified me for my benefits, which I have over $5000 coming to me over the next year if I need it.  So we're waiting on them to fix their mistake to send me some damn money.

I went for an interview at St. Catherine's Leboure Manor, where Jessie works and they liked me. I went in for the drug test on Monday, and they said I was too diluted (drinking to much water). So I went back today and took another one. It was way too clear. Now I'm depressed it'll come back too diluted and Travis is going to be furious. It'll be my own fault.

We got a new car over the weekend. It's a 2008 Honda Civic SI, it's red and 2 door and a stick shift. I've been trying to figure out how to drive after work at night. I'm doing really good at it.

Wish me luck the test came back okay.

Update

It's been a while, and a lot has been going on.

My real mom's father died a week ago. I don't remember her, she died 20 years ago, but I did know him. He was 84 years old, his birthday was 12/25/25,  lived in Macclenny, and was an Ordane Minister for 46 years. From what I understand, he had a kidney taken out a few months ago for cancer, and when they did it spread like wildfire. He fell at the end of January and broke his leg. So they put him in the hospital and put a plate on it to fix it. I guess when this happened, they found out that the cancer had spread to his bones. They found out on February 13, and he died in his sleep on February 15.  His viewing was Wednesday night, and the funeral was on Thursday. He is buried next to Rosemary (our real mom), and we got to see her grave. It makes you wonder how different everyone's lives would have been if she had lived. She was murdered, and they never found out who did it.

Travis got the job he went on the interview for. His last day was Friday, Feb. 12, and he got a job on Monday, Feb. 15. Thank goodness. That was a big stree reliever on both of us. He'll get $16.00 and will be paid by the job. He's a little wary of that, but I guess in the end you can make more money.
He took 2 weeks off, to get things done around the house. Over the weekend, he added a 7 foot parking pad onto the driveway, and  I organized most of my closets, I have our's left, which I'll do tonight. He's hoping to get a new fence this week, and hopefully finish painting in the pet's bedroom.

My job has been doing more layoffs. We let go of someone in our office on Friday for the past 2 weeks, and Friday is the last day for another one. We have no work, and our Overhead is to high (I'm not quite sure what that means) so their laying people off. I think I'm safe only because I answer the phone. This company is going under because people do not answer their phone calls. I put at least 30 phone calls a day to Voicemail.

So, I'm looking into taking the CNA Class that Jessie took to get her license. They have one this weekend, which I'm hoping I can get into. I'm 25, will be 26 in 6 months, and I need to have a career. So once I get my foot in the door as a CNA, then I'm going to look into going back to school to be X-Ray Technician. It's a good job, makes decent money, and your still helping people, just not taking care of them. Fingers Crossed!

Here is hoping for a good week!

142

Saints beat the Colts for their first Superbowl Win! Woo Hoo!
We watched the game, the commercials and the half time show. It was a great show by The Who. And Tim Tebow's commercial was harmless. It never mentioned anything about abortion. I have no idea why everyone made such a big deal about it.
We had a good weekend!
Friday night we went to Outback for dinner. It was an early Valentine's day, it'll be crazy next weekend. We got there about 8:20 pm and still had a 30 minute wait. Busy, but good food.
Saturday, I went and saw my Grandpa with Pam.
I weighed myself Sunday morning, when I got up, before I had gotten dressed and had breakfast, and the scale said 142! I'm so happy! It's not much, but it's a start. I'm going to be really good this week, and work out!
This is Travis' last week at his job. He's going to set up an interview later this week with International, and make some other calls. My job is still here for now. We have no work after this month, and we haven't sold anything this year. Our profit in 2008 was $52 millon, and last year was $10 millon. So there's been talk around the office, and I think they might say something soon. Ugh...
My Grandma is 91 today. I wish I could live to be her age and still be as active and healthy as her. She is a woman to be inspired by.
Here's to hoping for a good week!

Update...

Travis called me this moring after he got to work, and said that they are closing the terminal in Jacksonville for P.A.M Transportation on Feb. 12. So he'll once again be unemployed, and he's only worked there since Sept. 1. This time last year is when he got laid off at Nextran due to lack of work. And then it didn't work out at Comcar. So, I'll be updating his resume this afternoon and re-posting it online for him.
This comes at a bad time, since we were starting to work on getting new things done. I was going to see about going to the CNA (certified nursing assistant) classes sometime in the next month or so, and he was wanting to go buy a shed this weekend. He's mad, as to be expected.

We started taking our supplements and working out on Tuesday I got the Hoodia, which is supposed to have guarana for energy and hoodia for an appitite suppresent. I've still been hungry and so sleepy. I think it may take a few weeks to start working, and I might need to drink more water when I take it. So here's to hoping it works.

I still not have heard anything on my claims with the health insurance. It's been about a month since it went to the "Special Claims" department. You would have think I died with how hard this has been. Their finding the damn loop hole to make me pay. Stupid fuckers...

Hopefully it'll be a good weekend.

Too damn cold...

As many of us have already know, it's COLD!
This is the longest in a long time it's been this cold for this long. And it's supposed to last into beginning of next week. Holy crap...
I feel so bad for Travis. He's a diesel mechanic, working on the cabs for PAM Transport. Their shop is outside, as in they have nowhere to take the trucks in out of the cold. So while he's at work, roughly 9 hours a day, he's outside the entire time. It's covered, but that doesn't stop the wind. He has 3 layers on and is still cold. He wants me to buy him a ski mask today since his face is cold. He can't really wear gloves because it hinders what he's doing. I'll be so happy when it warms back up for him.
We are in the 20's at night and we're lucky to reach the high 40's during the day.
I thought I lived in Florida...

I started keeping track of what I've been eating. On all the websites it says that writing down what you eat some how helps you loose more weight.  I didn't work out last night, but I'm going tonight, since I'll probably be busy tomorrow.  This damn weather makes you not want to work out. I think tonight we're going to buy our supplements. I think I'm going to go with the Hoodia, but I'm going to talk to Travis about it more.

If I can make myself stick with it, then I'm hoping that by the time Travis' parents come in the end of March, then that's my goal. If I loose 2 lbs a week, then that will be 10 weeks, roughly 3 months.

Good luck to the others that are trying to make themselves more healthy like me!

Is it 5 on Friday yet?
Or better yet, is it summer yet?
