Woo Hoo for Friday!

I'm so happy it's Friday!
I dropped Bella of at the vet this morning. She needs a flea bath, shots, and her foot looked at. She did really well on the way there and taking her inside. I'll pick her up on the way home.
We don't have too many plans for the weekend.
Jessie and I are going shopping just the 2 of us. We're going to go to Bealle's Outlet. I need to return a pair of pants I had gotten Travis, that he doesn't like. And they had some really cute clothes when we were in there last time.
Travis is going to be doing yard work.
And I might clean the house and cars.
Hopefully the weather stays pretty clear and sunny.
Please no more rain all night long...
Jessie finally got her letter yesterday about her job. She's paid off most of the bills they were complaining about. But she has to send them proof they were paid and letters within 10 days. It takes them a month to send it, and only give her 10 days. That's bull shit.
But hopefully, she'll be able to go back to work soon!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Hump Day

It's Hump Day!
I love short work weeks!
I worked out last night, despite the rain.
I used our Total Gym Supra, and I feel it in my arms and shoulders. Now I need to get my legs and butt feeling this way. I need to get in gear.
Summer is coming quick.
Travis is wanting to go to New York at the end of July for vacation. We haven't been there in 2 years and the last time was when we got engaged.
So I'm going to make it my goal that I look damn good by then. It'll be right around Travis' birthday, and before my 25th. (I can't believe that!)
Bella is so sweet! She just loves to be played with. She'll be a lap cat. Lily wasn't too bad with her last night. We've been keeping them in separate rooms until they get more used to one another. It takes time.
Hope everyone has a good Hump Day!

Tuesday

It's Tuesday and sunny!
A good way to start the week!
We had a wonderful weekend!
Friday night I went grocery shopping and went home and played with Bella. She is the cutest cat ever. She's so lovable.
I can't believe anyone would ever want to hurt her.
Saturday, between the rain showers, Jesse, Pam, Holly, Tyler and I all went shopping at the Avenues Mall. It's a lot bigger than the damn Orange Park Mall. I kinda wish now it had only been Jessie and I. We had fun with Pam and Holly, but Pam got on our nerves. We got there and had Chinese for lunch. Then we had to spend 45 minutes in Build-a-Bear for Tyler. That's fine, Tyler was so happy about it. While we were all standing there, waiting on them to stuff Tyler's Panda, and Pam called me chubby. I was standing between Holly & Jessie. Their both skinny, like size 6's. And I'm about a 10-11. I looked at them and said at least I have boobs and a butt, and walked off. Pam has no right to call me chubby. She's the fat ass. At least I try to work out. All she does is sit on her fat ass. That pissed Jessie and I off.
We went to a couple of other stores, and Tyler wanted to play on the jungle gym they have. Pam got all mad because Tyler spilled his drink. I think she just wanted to go home and smoke with Dave. That is all they do.
Sunday, Travis and I woke up and headed down to Green Cove Springs. They we're supposed to be having a car show for Memorial Day. So we rode the motorcycles. It had been cancelled. So we stopped at Dick's and had a beer. Then we rode to Box Seats for lunch. It was a beautiful morning for a ride.
Yesterday we hung out at home. I cleaned the house and all the windows. Travis worked in the yard. We also watched the Coke 600 that had been rain delayed. They tried to put that race on for at least 24-hours. They were having so much rain in the Carolinas.
All the shows have had their Season finales. Not too much left to watch on TV.
I'm going to try and work out this week, since the rain killed that plan last week.
Is it Friday yet?

Woo hoo for Friday!

I'm so happy it's Friday!
And a 3-day weekend!

It's looking to be a good weekend!

Travis called this morning on his way home from like he always does. Well, he was bringing home a new kitten. She's solid black with green eyes. She is so adorable from the pictures! A truck driver had found her on the Trout River Bridge at about Midnight last night. People make me so mad sometimes. So she's home now with Travis and Lily. I just hope Lily is good to her. She's scared to death. Poor thing. But her and Lily will grow up together now.

I'm going to name her Bella.

Tomorrow, we're having a girls day. Jessie, Pam, Holly, and I (maybe Ashley) are going to go shopping and have lunch. I can't remember the last time we all did this, if ever. It'll be fun!!

We're supposed to ride the motorcycles to Palatka for the Blue Crab festival, but I don't really see that happening, since it's rained everyday for almost a week now. It's like a 40% chance on Sunday and Monday. Damn rain, go away.

Hope everyone has a wonderful 3-day weekend!

Finally...

I finally have my appointment scheduled.
It's June 11, at 10:15 am.
I have to pay $744.36, but it's worth it.
I just have to call Mirena next week to make sure that they mailed it off.
Then I have to call the doctor's office and let them that the insurance has changed so I can still pay full price.
At least it's resolved for the most part!

Pissed Off..

I'm so pissed off about trying to get the damn Mirena.
The damn people in the doctor's office have no fucking idea what their talking about.
I talked to Mirena yesterday, and I'm ready to go with them. All they need is an approval for the prescription to mail it out. Humana is going to pay for it from the pharmacy with no co-pay from me! Good, but I need them to do it by June 1. Our health insurance changes at that time, and I'm not sure how United Health Care will handle it.
So I called to make my appointment since I know when my period will be, and damn bitch asks if I had a consolation appointment. I didn't know I needed one. I talked to the doctor when I went for my Pap-smear and I talked to her assistant about it to when I decided. Then she asks if I have had a referral from my primary doctor. I don't have one. Why would my primary doctor have anything to do with birth control and the OB/GYN. I don't know. I told her that our plan is Humana HMO: OPEN ACCESS- No PCP/REFERRALS. Obviously she didn't fucking hear me, and sent me over to the Insurance Referral lady. I talked to her yesterday. She said I'm already to go with Humana. Great. I'm going to give her the agent with Humana and she can tell them we don't need any referrals. I also have a call into the doctor's assistant to call me back.
Tell me what I need to do to get my appointment.
I'm so mad.
I've been dealing with this for 2 weeks now.
I'll deal with United Health Care after June 1.
How hard can this be?

A rainy Hump day

It's Hump day, and it's still raining.
It's so gray and gloomy out there...
It's been like this for 3 days now.
I'm so excited that Shawn & Mark won DWTS! She's an amazing athlete. It was so close, less than 1%, and Gilles did an amazing job all season long.
Too bad 2 people can't win.
We've been thinking about getting a boy cat. I didn't get to bring the one here from work home. We tried to capture her on May 8 to take her to the vet, and wasn't successful. She hasn't really been around since. We'll wait a while. I just hope Lily's okay with it. She's been the only one, but I think once she gets used to him, then she'll be okay. It'll give her some company.
I've been working out the last 2 weeks. Not as much as I would like this week with the rain. And I have quit drinking all of my soda. I used to have a can everyday at lunch. I still have soda every now and then. Now I bring me some tea from home. It has way less calories and carbs that soda. And I've noticed that 2 of my pants that used to be really tight, are looser. It's a good feeling.
Well, I hope the sun comes back for this weekend. It's Memorial day, with a 3 day weekend, and better not be raining.
Happy Hump day!
Did you see the New Moon poster>
Their going to be showing a clip at the MTV Movie Wards! I can't wait!

Gloomy day

It's still raining...
It has been raining since Sunday, and we're under a flood watch until tomorrow night.
It's cold too.
I just hope it clears up by this weekend. Adam, Travis and I are supposed to be riding our motorcycles down to Palatka for the Blue Crab festival for Memorial day. If it's raining, we can't go...
I can't wait to see who wins the Mirror Ball trophy on Dancing with the Stars! Shawn is my favorite! She was awesome last night.
One Tree Hill Season Finale was on last night too. It seemed to me and Jessie that it was almost a Series finale. They showed everyone in the end happy with life and with the ones they loved. So I don't know how they can make more dumb shit happen to them. But we'll have to wait till this fall to see if it comes back.
Is it 5 yet?

Rainy Monday

It's cold and rainy.
Perfect weather to stay home and in bed, especially on a Monday...
We had a good weekend.
Went grocery shopping then grilled out Friday night.
Saturday we went to the World Golf Village for the Riding into History Motorcycle Show. It was a bunch of vintage motorcycles re-done. It was fun to see all the classics. We got some ideas for our new ones.
Then we hung out at home. I organized our closet, and cleaned a little. Then we watched the Allstar Race. It was good. Tony Stewart won $1 million dollars.
Sunday, I got up and went to Jessie's. She bought some new flowers to put on Mom and Amy's graves. We went up there and they now have new spring flowers.
Then we went to Wal-Mart and bought a new lawn mower, rake and wheel barrow. Then we did yard work until it rained us out.
At least next weekend is a 3-day weekend for Memorial Day.
Hope it's a good week for everyone!

It's Friday!

I'm so glad it's Friday!
Now if only it was 5 o'clock...
Everything went smoothly last night. We got there and Lea let us read mom's will and a note she had left about who gets how much money. So she said she would write us a check if she wanted us to. So she did. She's been talking to a lot of people about Shands coming after the money from mom's estate. Well, the house was sold the week before she died and the van had been in Lea's name for a few months. So there isn't anything really left. It might not even be worth their lawyer's fees to come after the money. So it's a waiting game. Travis said if they do come after it, then we'll take out a $4,000 loan and give to Lea. As far as Jessie and Bobby, I'm not sure what their going to do.
As far as everything with my Aunt Janice, it's a she said/ she said game. They each have their own way of telling whats been going on. I understand they were both very upset when Mom died. So I'm going to be nice to everyone, and just not mention anyone to anyone else. What else can I do...
I hope things work out okay for Jessie and Bobby. Jessie still has not received her letter, so she is still not working. They owe money on some bills and aren't the best money managers. They do things their way in which they see is the best for them.
I just wished that Travis and Bobby got along better. They are 2 very different people with their own views of the world. And you can't change them.
I just want Jessie to be truly happy with life, and that's something that I can't do for her. She has to do it for herself.
Well, we're going to go to a Vintage Bike Show at the World Golf Village tomorrow. It's supposed to be a big show, lots of bikes, food, shops. It should be fun. Then Travis is going to change the brakes on the car. And I have some touch-up painting to do inside. It should be a good weekend.
Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Busy

I'm glad it's Thursday. That means tomorrow is Friday! Woo hoo!
I've been busy here at work.
I'm learning how to do more with the Estimating Department.
I now can enter Bids into Fabtrol, run the reports, type up the proposals, and enter in Bid Recaps. Just about what an Estimator does, but actually look at the drawings to see how much steel and what types is needed. But I don't get paid anymore to learn any of this.
So, it's just something I'll be able to add to my Resume. Fun...
We're supposed to be meeting with Lea tonight. She's supposed to let us know what's going on with everything, and hopefully give us our money that she's had OVER A MONTH, since before Mom passed away. She has no reason to still have it. And if she gives us any BS over Shands taking it, then we'll get the lawyer's name and we'll go to him with our uncle. She's probably been out spending it on alcohol and not having to work. She wanted my aunt to lie to her ex-boyfriend, that she's now seeing, about our cousin, Chris, staying with her for as long as he did. He lives in NC with his wife and kid, and was in FL for at least 3 weeks, staying with her. Why would they have to lie if nothing was happening?
She's a slut, which is really bad to say, but it's true.
I'm not sure what we've got planned for this weekend.
Travis said something about a car or motorcycle show at the World Golf Village on Saturday. And I know he needs to change the brakes and rotate the rotors on the car and van.
Other than that, I'm not real sure.
The day sure does fly by when you are actually working. Imagine that...
Is it 5 on Friday?

Cloudy

It's cloudy today, and hopefully we get some rain. Our yard desperately needs it.
It's not supposed to be has hot today either.
I'm tired today too. I figured out I sleep better when Travis is home. I don't wake up in the middle of the night. When he's not there, I wake up at least once. It sucks...
We had a good weekend.
Went out to dinner Friday night.
Went swimming with Jessie on Saturday. Then painted the new washer and dryer stand Travis built, and the pantry door.
Sunday we rode the motorcycles and put some flowers on Mom's grave for Mother's day.
I rode on the interstate for the first time by myself too. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be.
I've started working out again. I've been riding my bicycle. I also found a program on Prevention that is a 2-week Total Body Turn around. You do 30 minutes of strength training (they give you the exercises to do) and 30 minutes of Cardio, hence me riding the bicycle, 6 days a week. It's an hour a day. So I'm going to try my hardest to stick with it. I need to loose some weight. I've also been trying to cut out my soda. I'm trying to at work at least for now.
Jessie is having problems. Not with Bobby yet, but with her job. I guess she has some unpaid bills and until she gets them fixed or paid off, she can't go back to work. And Bobby doesn't make enough for them to survive without her paycheck. She also can't get a hold of Lea. Lea wanted to get together and discuss what's going on with Shands and Mom. But she won't call Jessie back. She has our money that Mom left us, and she's probably spending. Well, Jessie might need some of it. We were afraid this was going to happen, her ripping us off.
Is it 5 yet?

Busy...

I'm glad today is Thursday, that means tomorrow is Friday! Yeah!
Now if only it was 5 o'clock...
Ashley came over last night to hang out.
I didn't get anything done.
I didn't get to work out or clean...
So I have to go home tonight, cook dinner, work out, clean, and do laundry. And if I have time, try to watch CSI at 9 pm.
Then tomorrow after work, if they let me, I'm going to try and take the cat here from work, and drop her off at the vet. She needs to have a flea bath (really bad), shots, and to see if she has worms. I don't want her any where near Lily until she is fully checked out. I'm not sure how either of them are going to act. Their both girls, and Lily is spoiled. They'll eventually get used to each other.
I'm still waiting to hear back about the Mirena. I'm hoping I'll be able to go next week and get it done. If not, then I'll have to take another pack of pills, and wait to go next month.
It's supposed to get up to 90 today. That's 10 degrees hotter than normal. And it's only May...
Have a good day!

Mirena

Well, I'm going to try the Mirena.
I'm done with the hassle of dealing with pills everyday, and being sick from them. It may cost a lot now, but in the end it will pay for it self.
My insurance will pay for it from the Pharmacy. But will not pay for the doctor's appointment. I guess it's going to be $585.89 plus what the doctor's charge to put it in. But we can pay for it over 4 months, and we still have most of our tax return left. So I've got Mirena putting in an authorization at the Doctor's office to let them know that the pharmacy covers it in full. I also have Humana putting in an authorization for the doctors.
I'm hoping to get it done next week. I have to be on my period for them to do it, which is next week.
With my mom passing, and Talladega, we've been busy.
Travis is hoping that it doesn't make me sick, and I hope that I don't have a really long period.
But we both know that we do not want kids right now, and this is a long term thing.
I'm kinda scared about going to have it done. I've never had any type of procedure done before, not an X-ray or anything. So....
Any advice would help.

Boo for Mondays

How I wish weekends were longer...
2 days is just not enough.
We had a good weekend.
Friday night, we had pizza for dinner, and worked a bit in the garage.
Saturday morning, Travis came home from work, and we left about 9:00 am to go to Cape Coral to pick up his new motorcycle. Cape Coral is on the Gulf Coast south of Sarasota, near Ft. Myers. We got down there about 2:30 pm. These guys had over 10 motorcycles sitting in a storage room. None of them had been touched in over 7 years, and are wanting to sell them now. Travis got a 1982 Kawasaki GPZ 750. It's red, and doesn't run. He paid $650 for it. He's going to be busy with it. Then we had to drive home. We finally got home about 7:30 after stopping by Popeyes for dinner. It was a very long drive. Travis was up for 31 hours. He woke up Friday night at 7 pm and didnt' go to be till 1:30 am on Saturday night. He had 4 Monsters on the trip.
I dont know how he does it.
Sunday, we woke up and worked around the house. Travis got the grass cut (a chore since we have a huge corner lot) and I painted. I painted a dresser to go in our closet, and the shelf he built to hold my totes of holiday decorations in the garage.
My aunt, uncle, Grandma, and Jessie also stopped by. Their heading back to the mountains in North Carolina on Tuesday, and wanted Grandma to see our house.
We're supposed to be in the high 80's all week. It's getting so hot already. Time for swimming!
Hope everyone has a good Monday.

Friday, May 1, 2009

Finally Friday!

I'm so happy it's Friday!
I'm going grocery shopping after work, then I'm probably going to cut the grass.
Tomorrow when Travis gets home from work, he wants to drive to Cape Coral, FL. It's south of Tampa on the Gulf Coast. At least the weather will be nice tomorrow for a long drive. We're going to go pickup a new motorcycle.
Sunday, I'm going to be painting things around the house. The pantry door, some shelves in the garage. Lots of things to be done on the house, inside and out.
I think next weekend, I'm going to try and get the cat here at work to the vet, so I can finally take her home. Then I'll have 2 cats. Both will be girls, so their going to have to get over that.
Travis gets to have 3 motorcycles, and I get 2 cats!
I'm ready for 5 o'clock!
Hope everyone has a good weekend!
