Happy Early Turkey Day!

I'm so glad it's Wednesday!
And we're having lunch in the shop at 11:30, then we can go home!
Travis is home, so we'll have a long weekend together once I get home today.
He was so sweet yesterday. He bought me home 2 sodas and a danish from work cus he thought it was a pecan pie for me. Then last night, he cooked dinner for me. He'll be helping me cook tomorrow too. He's good in the kitchen. Except for washing dishes, he doesn't do that too often.
I'm not really sure what's happening tomorrow. I guess I'll go see Jessie for a little bit, Mom and Grandma are going to stop by. But other than that, I'm not sure. But we'll have a wonderful holiday either way.
We have so much to be thankful for this year. We got married, had a beautiful wedding and fabulous honeymoon. We're looking into buying our first home. Both of us still have good jobs. Our families are healthy. We have been blessed.
I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
Enjoy!

Tuesday...

One more day this week left to go! Woo Hoo!
I can't wait to have 4 morning to sleep in next to Travis.
I found out last night when he came home, that starting Monday, he'll work 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.
He'll be leaving when I get up, but maybe I'll get up with him. It'll be nice to have him home earlier in the evenings too. Then when the time changes, he'll have a few hours of light outside.
I went home and worked out. I did a 20 minute yoga video that focused on your butt, hips, and thighs. All of my trouble areas. It was a guy. But I liked the video. I can kinda feel it today. I'm going to do it again.
I was counting my calories yesterday, and I did pretty good. I think I might have gone over a little, but I'm still around 1400 a day.
My days are mixed up this week with having Thanksgiving on Thursday. I'm doing laundry tonight, which is 2 days early. Then tomorrow I'm cleaning and cooking. I'm not sure who'll be eating dinner with us. I know it'll be me and Travis. My mom said her and my grandma would stop by, but not to count them in on eating. I also don't know what my dad is doing. It would be nice to see them this weekend, maybe ask about the money.
Well I hope everyone has a good Tuesday!
Is it 5 yet?

3 day work week!

We had a good weekend.
It just needed to be a little longer.
But this weekend will make up for it.
Friday night we hung out. Watched some TV.
Saturday morning, I dropped my car off at the dealership. Travis didn't have to work. But Jessie picked me up, and we hung out while she did her laundry. We picked up my car, I'll have to have a loaner for about a week, when they replace the head liner. Sweet. Then we went home and re-arranged the apartment some. We put the all the lizards in the spare bedroom now. And the computer in the living room. It's easier that way, we can close the door, and there all safe and sound from Lilly. So now, Travis can be on the computer, and I can watch TV in the living room. I made cookies Saturday night. They are so yummy!
Then Sunday, we watched some football, went to Wal-mart, and looked at some houses. We found a few we liked. And they are within our price range.
Jessie and Bobby might be moving. His Mom and Dad are buying a trailer in Bobby's Grandma's park. It's $3000. They would have to pay the lot rent, which is about $345, and pay his parents back. It'll be cheaper than their apartment now. They also want to help them with their bills. I think they should try and do it.
Help them get to where they need to be.
Well, I hope everyone has a good Monday!

Finally Friday!

I'm so happy it's Friday. And next week will be a quick one, only working 3 days.
I don't think we have much going on this weekend.
I'm making cookies sometime. Tomorrow morning at 9 am, I have to take my car in to the dealership. There's an airbag light on, and one of the seams on the area between my back window and the rear window is undone. You can see the yellow cushion underneath. It kinda sucks now, because Travis has to work tomorrow. I was planning on him picking me up. I don't know how long it's going to take, and I would have to have them drive me home. He's the one that wanted to get it in this weekend, and now he's working.
Twilight comes out today. I want to go see it. I also want to read the book. But I don't see that happening any time soon. Boo....
I hope today goes by fast. But then I have to go grocery shopping. I asked Travis to go with me to help buy for Thanksgiving. He said it's a waste of his time. It would be nice if he was like more husbands and actually went to the store. I see guys shopping all the time. He's off on Fridays. I'm not, so I go when I get off, and now with it getting dark at like 6, it's completely dark when I get home. Not cool at all. I guess men will do only want they want to do. Heaven forbid they do something nice to help out more than once a week...
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Stay Warm!

Today is one of those days...

I hope today goes by fast.
I don't think so, because this morning is going by slow.
It's only 10:30 am and I'm ready to bitch slap someone. Some lady just called and asked for one the guys in the shop. Well no one is ever in the office down there, and their not allowed to get calls. Most of the time it's debt collectors. So I told her he's not allowed to receive personal calls at work and hung up. Well she decided to call back and bitch at me. She's like you didn't even give me time to tell you what I needed and your rude and obnoxious. I don't think anyone has ever said that to me here at work. Then she went on and on. I told her how it's hard to get a hold of them and their busy welding and moving tons of steel all day long. Call him at lunch or something. I was so mad, I'm shaking. My heart was pounding so fast.
It's days and a week like this that makes you really love your job. NOT!!!!!
I'll be happy when I'm not a receptionist anymore, and I don't have to talk on the phone ALL DAY, and I can go potty when I WANT TO!
The phone has been crazy all week.
I have to do laundry by myself this week. Jessie's working 2 pm to 8 pm, so she was going to go this morning. I'll just take a book and read. Maybe it wont take 2 hours to do.
Is it 5 o'clock on Friday?
Or better yet, is yet 5'clock next Wednesday?

Hump Day

It's Hump Day, on the downward slide for the weekend!
Then next week, it's only a 3 day work week, and Wednesday, we're having lunch in the shop.
They're letting us have Friday off next week! I think this might be the first time I haven't worked the day after Thanksgiving. Travis will have Wednesday off too, so we get to have a 4 day weekend to ourselves! Mini Vacation!
I hate hate this cold weather. Our apartment is so cold. It's like you can feel the cold air coming in through the walls. The windows jiggle, so you know their loose, and letting cold air in. Our thermostat is next to our front door, so the heater is always turning on, then turning off.
I'm going to work out again tonight. I did on Monday, tried last night, but I will again tonight. I've been pretty good about sticking with the cereal this week. I had a corn dog after dinner last night, but oh well. But I've been pretty good.
Well, hope everyone stays warm!
Happy Hump Day!

Brrrr...

I'm sleepy this morning.
I slept good until about 6:30 when Lilly woke me up. Damn cat...
I dont like this cold weather. It keeps our apartment cold. Damn heater dont work right and the windows and doors dont help to keep the cold air out. I'm going to have bring my plants inside tonight. I think we have a frost warning or a freeze warning. Brrr...
I worked out last night. I did a little yoga. I'm thinking about doing some videos tonight, it makes me feel like I do more with them.
That's about it for now...
I'm ready to go home already.

Blah on a Monday

I hate Mondays...
Today sucks...
Lilly woke us up at 6:30 this morning to feed her. So I kicked her out of the bedroom. She kept clawing at the door. So about 6:45, I got up and fed her. Then my alarm went off at 7. I so did not want to get out of our warm bed with Travis still in it. It was too damn cold this morning. So I got ready, went downstairs to start my car for work, and it wont start. Damn thing. We had to jump start it yesterday cus we left the Satellite radio on Saturday night. Well since Travis decided to back in my car, I had to wake him up, have him come downstairs and jump start my car from the van. Then the rail road tracks here by work are still closed, so I had to go up another exit and it's takes about 5-10 minutes more to get to work that way. Then I forgot my milk, so I couldn't eat my cereal.
I get to work, with barely enough time to go potty, before I have to get to my desk. The phone keeps ringing off the damn hook. Everyone needs to take the stick out of their ass today. If it be in person or on the phone. And the women have the heels on the damn shoes, take them off. Hearing them click all over the office building for the last 5 hours, is giving me a really bad headache. Then they had some people here for lunch, and of course no one says a damn word to me or Toni about. Then they guy who's here visiting comes up and acts like I work for him. No I don't. So please be polite when asking me to do a favor for you.
I'm so over this place today.
I'm ready for 5 o'clock.
I'm going to go home, do my yoga, and have the rest of my Bud Lights.

Friday!

Finally Friday! Yeah!
Wok is annoying today. I'm so ready to go home and be with Travis.
Jessie and I just did laundry last night. We both go to see our men during it, so it wasn't too bad.
I'm not sure what we have planned for this weekend. I do know that it's the final race until the Daytona 500 in February. So we'll be watching them. There's a race today, tomorrow, and Sunday. And of course football comes on. Hope the Gators can win again. And the Jags are playing Tennessee this weekend, and their the only team still that hasn't lost yet. I hope it's a good game, but I don't see us winning.
Maybe tomorrow we can go for a ride, cus it's supposed to be cold on Sunday. Only up to 62. Burrr...
Toni and I are going to McDonald's for lunch. Bad I know, but it's the only time besides yesterday, we have gone out this week. I'm going grocery shopping tonight, so I'm going to get me good food. I think I might try the Special K diet. It's worth a shot, then with my yoga, which I'm doing this weekend.
Hope everyone has a good weekend!
Is it 5 yet?

Some info on Obama...

Some of you won't agree.....and that is ok....but a lot of you WILL. I will be praying for God's mercy and grace on our country for the next four years, and HOPE that we are all not ignorant enough again when the time comes to select another President of this country.......
Obama-Voters,
Let me just ask.....are you proud of yourselves?
You voted in a rookie, a FIRST-TERM senator with ZERO military experience, the experience that is needed to be able to truly lead this nation at such a critical time.
You voted in someone who wants to steal from the rich and give to the poor, someone who think a small business owner should "spread the wealth," thus putting an end to the American dream. No more "Mom 'n Pop" restaurants, they wont be able to afford to keep their doors open once Obama rapes their wallets.
You voted in someone who wants to disarm our nuclear defense system, a system that WORKS and can defend our country, should the war make its way to our shores. Someone who wants to invade Iran, which is a fantastic idea after disarming America.
Leave us as sitting ducks, great!
You voted in someone who associates with KNOWN domestic terrorists, yet has been able to smooth talk himself out of it. Someone who has illegal family members living in this country and wants to let even more illegals in to take our jobs. Oh and don't forget, he wants to give YOUR hard earned money to them while he's at it.
You voted in someone who can't even be proven to have been born in this country! Don't you find it odd that his birth certificate was sealed from being viewed? Seems to me that if you have nothing to hide, you wouldn't seal your birth certificate, right? Not to mention the certificate that did manage to surface magically was filed years after his actual birth.
Fishy? I think yes.
America, you voted in someone who wants to give you " free" health care . I emphasize the quotation marks there, because NOTHING is truly free. Yes, you can go to the doctor without paying a medical bill, but did you fail to realize that he is going to charge 40- 50% taxes on EVERYBODY for that Universal Health care plan? Yes, EVERYBODY. Even the people who have their own health insurance and will not be using his plan, they will still be paying for it. Great, I can't wait to foot the bill for some gang member who was shot, or some druggie who OD'd, because Obama says I have to.
You voted in someone who was actually endorsed by Al Quaeda, and other prominent dictators. Someone who these people actually say THEY WANT in OUR White House. Shouldn't that raise a red flag? Why would Al Quaeda endorse him...unless they have something to gain from him being in office??
You voted in someone who wants to stop helping Israel, one of our biggest and strongest allies. He wants to let everyone else go ahead and invae Israel, and you don't think that will piss them off? Israel has an incredibly strong military, I wouldn't want to get on their bad side.
You voted for someone who thinks it's okay to partially deliver a baby and then murder it. As long as the baby is still partially in the birth canal, it's "only abort ion," regardless of if the baby is full term. Strong enough to murder babies, yet too cowardly to fight against our true enemies overseas.
Great role model!
You voted for someone who said in his own words that he thinks the government should have a hand in raising OUR children. THE GOVERNMENT! Do you want the government raising YOUR kids? I sure don't, and it will be a cold day in hell before I let him anywhere near my family.
Also, everyone is rejoicing for the first African-American president of the United States...NEWS FLASH he's not legally black, bet you didn't know that. He's 50% white (from his mom) and 43.75% Arab, 6.25% African-American (from his dad). You have to be 12.5% African-American to be considered one. So instead we have our first ARAB American as president.
So America, congratulations, you have just sent yourselves to hell in a hand basket . I hope you are proud . Biden said himself, within the next 6 months America will be tested with Obama as president. I think that's an accurate premonition, and I am scared to see what is going to happen. But do me a favor; if you voted for Obama, don't whine and complain in a year or so when things are going downhill, because YOU ASKED FOR IT.
So give yourselves a nice pat on the back.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!
PASS IT ON TO EDUCATE THESE AMERICANS LOOKING FORWARD FOR THE CHANGE!!!

Sleepy on a Thursday...

I'm so very sleepy today, and I can't seem to wake up.
I already had my cup of coffee, and I'm still so sleepy.
It's kinda cloudy outside right now, with no sunshine, the kind of weather, you want to go home and fall asleep in.
I guess we're still going to try a buy a house. Travis is thinking about maybe asking Gary for some money, and we'll pay him back each month. Write up a contract on it. That way we'll be able to possibly get something we like. With the SHIP program, they have restrictions on what you can buy, and Travis thinks that the houses we like, wont meet them. So I might find a contract to write up today for that. It's worth a shot I guess.
I'm also getting the pictures I want to send to the photographer for our album. It's so nice he'll make it for me and I don't have to worry about it. Now all I have to do is get our ceremony video ready to send to AVF. That is the funniest thing with my veil. Maybe we'll win some money!
We watched the CMA's last night on ABC. It was a very good show. It seem like more people performed then they gave out awards, but it was cool to see everyone showing off what they can do.
Is is 5 yet?

Hump Day

I'm glad it's hump day, but I feel tired today for some reason.
I think I need to start eating better in the evenings, and working out more. They say if you work out then it'll give your more energy. I need that. I want to get in the habit of exercising more.
When Megan and I went to the gym on base on Monday, the scale for me said 143. That was with my clothes and shoes on. But that's more than I want it to say. I've been really bad since right before the wedding. Now with it getting dark so damn early, it's hard to get the motivation going. So I think if I can work out more, and eat better at night, not just junk food, but actual dinner, it'll be good for me.
I don't really need to loose any weight, I just need to tone up what I have and make it look good. Hopefully next summer, I will feel great in a bathing suit, and not think that my butt and thighs are too big. That is where most of my weight is, and I would like for my arms and abs to look good too.
So hopefully, I can get it going, and eventually I'll see results, which will help be my motivation!
Happy Hump Day!

Veteran's Day

Travis is a Veteran of sorts. He did serve in the Marines, but never went to war. Thankfully.
I'm so very thankful today for all the men and women who serve in our Military.
Past and present soldiers should all be remembered today, and a prayer to watch over them as they risk their lives for us.
It seems like people have forgotten about all the men and women and their families over there.
And to think that we have elected Obama to office.
I hope he makes the right choices for our futures.
Happy Veteran's Day to all those that have served and are serving.
God Bless them all.

Superman

I think I have a new favorite song, Superman 14 by Kevin Costner and Modern West. It's my first song on my profile. I love it!
We had a wonderful weekend!
Friday I got off early and we went to the IRS office and got our papers printed we needed. Then I went grocery shopping, and Travis had to drive out to UPS to pick up our package because they came while we were gone. We wanted our damn parts, not on Monday.
So Saturday, Travis was going to ride my bike to work and fix my chain. Damn thing wouldn't start. It pissed Travis off. It's 7:30 in the morning, and he's trying to jump start it. So he ended up having to ride his bike. So I met with Jessie at Wal-Mart, and we got our hair cut. I also got some hair dye. So Travis came home, and it still wouldn't start. So we got new spark plugs, and it still wouldn't start. We had to take off the gas tank, and it eventually started. So we rode over to Gary's House, a guy he works with, so he could fix it. Then we rode down Collins, to look at some houses. We found a cute one we like. It's 2 stories, has a garage space for Travis, and a duck pond in the neighborhood.
Sunday, we went riding all around looking at houses. I'm getting really good on bike. I only stalled out once in traffic, and I kept up with Travis. I'm so proud of myself! Then last night, we just watched some football and the race.
Hopefully, Travis will be able to get a whole week at work, but he said it doesn't look good. They get really slow around the holidays.
Jessie started her new job today! GO Jessie!
Hope everyone has a good Monday!

Half Day!

I'm so happy it's Friday, and I'm only working a half day! :0)
I'm feeling better today. I didn't get sick last night because of my pills. My head isn't as congested today, but I still have the blah feeling in my head. At least I'm getting better for the weekend!
I get to ride my motorcycle today! Yeah! I haven't rode it in almost 3 weeks, but my parts are coming in today, so Travis will be able to fix it up for me! It seems like it'll be a beautiful day for ride!
We're going to go look at more houses this weekend. We found some more that we think are cute on the outside. So let's hope we find one we like and it's at a decent price!
Well I hope everyone has a good weekend!

Sick of being sick...

I'm so tired of this damn cold. My lips are chapped and my nose is raw from blowing it so much. I have this blah feeling in my head, and I'm achy. And to top it off, I'm starting a new pack of pills this week. So on top of dealing with my cold all week at work, I've been sick to my stomach. I'm going to see if I can change them or something. I'm tired of being sick and worrying about getting sick. It's not right.
The damn weather needs to straighten the hell out. So everyone quits getting sick.
We talked with the our realtor and the lender. Found out that some of the houses we like might not qualify for our bonds. But there is always more houses to go look at. So we'll be doing that this weekend, but for the most part we are pre-approved. Which is a good thing with us being first-time home buyers. Hopefully we can be in one by the end of the year. I don't think I'm going to put up our tree this year. I'll put out some decorations, but that's it.
Well I hope everyone has a good Thursday!

What have we done?

I can't believe that Obama won the election.
Do those people have any idea what kind of man he is?
Or what he's going to end up doing to our country and our military?
If everyone thought Bush was a bad president, then they have a new thing to learn.
I'm shocked...

Voting for McCain!

It's election day, and John McCain is getting my vote as soon as I get off work. My voting site is on my way home, and I hope the line isn't too long.
Then after that, I have to eat a bite, then pick up Megan, and go get Jessie. Then the 3 of us are going to a Mary Kay party from 7 to 8 pm. I think we might be getting free facials and I get a $45 gift card for bringing 2 friends with me! So hopefully it'll be fun!
I think Megan and I are going to start working out together next week. It might be beneficial for both of us if we can go together. I just need to tone up and she wants to loose about 30 pounds. So we'll have to see how that goes.
Tomorrow is our meeting with our realtor, Gail, and the lender for the house. I guess after tomorrow night, we can start officially looking at homes! Which means the sooner we find one, the sooner we're out of the apartments.
I moved the neighbor's Obama sign, and pointed it at the street. Ha ha!
Hope everyone goes vote today!

Already November!

I can't believe it's already November. Seems like we just back from our honeymoon not too long ago.
We had a good weekend, just needed to be a little longer.
Friday night, I only had 2 sets of kids for trick or treating. I guess the weather was crappy, and we live upstairs. But I heard people walking around downstairs, and no one came up. I finally gave up and brought everything inside.
Saturday we went a looked at a really cute house. We loved everything about it. Come to find out on Sunday, it's already under contract. This isn't the first house we've looked at that's already under a contract. We know that once we get too look inside, and we like it, we better move on it. Which should hopefully be by Christmas.
Yesterday, we were outside for a bit, Travis was fixing his bike, and I vacuumed and washed my car. The damn lady downstairs came outside to ask me to move my car because I was too close to hers. They only way she knew I was outside and that close to her car we by spying on us through their bedroom windows. I had my doors open, and there was still a foot of space between them. She's said to go on the other side. The damn hose wouldn't reach all the way over there. So she said it ain't right she had to move her car, how we take up 3 spots on the back row. Then she tried to blame us for something she got in her tire. Go ahead and bitch to the damn office, they didn't do anything the first damn time you did. Adam came over to hang out on Saturday night, and we were showing him some of the houses on the computer. We could here them yelling at the two boys downstairs through the floor. The boys were screaming at the top of the lungs. You can't beat your kids like that anymore. Travis said yesterday that before we leave, we're calling child protective services. It's not right for their kids to be screaming like that. Then to top it off, she has a damn Obama sign in MY FLOWER BED, pointed at MY STAIRS. It's not pointed at the road, it's pointed at us and it's says "Change". I can't not wait until we are out of there. I feel like getting a McCain/Palin sign and put it right on their damn cars.
Jessie has some interviews this week for jobs. She's having a little luck, so hopefully something will come out of one. She really needs one. I feel bad with how unhappy she is right now.
I haven't felt good this morning. I woke up and my throat was dry. I've been sneezing, and my head feels groggy. I'm going my Wal-mart today to pick up some medicine for Travis, so I'm going to get me some.
It's going to be a busy week!
Have a good Monday!
