New Year's Eve!

Today is the last day in 2008!
It seems like this year flew by!
I hope we're getting off early today. But at least we have a 4 day weekend!
It probably won't be until 3 pm, because that's when the Shop leaves.
Travis woke up throwing up this morning. He didn't feel good yesterday. I think he might have brought some of this on himself. Bad to say, but I do. He only ate 2 chicken patty sandwiches and some fries after 4 or so. Then last night, he had a couple of drinks. Drinking liquor on an almost empty stomach, never did anyone any good. But he may also have the stomach virus that's going around. I've only had a cold, but I feel fine. So who knows...
I have a roast with potatoes and carrots cooking in my new crock pot for dinner tonight. Then I think we're just going to hang out at home tonight. Last New Years, we were camping with a bunch of people, so it'll be nice to be home, and away from all the crazy people that will be drinking and partying.
We don't have much else planned. Travis said something about maybe going shopping some more. And Saturday night, we're all supposed to go play pool. Megan and Chris are moving to Montana in about 2 weeks, and Bobby's birthday is Sunday. But it'll be a nice long weekend.
It sucks, because who knows when the next time we'll get out of work and paid for it.
Well, hope everyone has a SAFE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Work

One more day of work left this week!
Hopefully, it's only part of day!
I didn't work out last night. I didn't feel all that well when I got home.
I start a new pack this week...
But Travis worked out. He needs to...
But I figure next week, when my daily schedule goes back to normal, (not having a 4 day weekend), I'll start working out. Plus it's not the New Year yet. I'm going to stay with as best as I can. I always say that, but I think that if I can make it part of my daily routine, then it probably wont be as big a deal as it is now. I'm also going to start eating more salads again. I've been pretty good with the food, but it's the working out that gets me.
I found some help online about things you can do when you sit at work all day.
I think I'll start incorporating those in today.
I did get to re-organize my linen closet last night. It looks so much better, and makes me feel good to know that I have an organized closet.
Now if it could only be tomorrow!
Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

Back to Work...

We had a wonderful Christmas!
It was so nice to be home and not worry about anything all weekend!
I worked a half of day on Christmas Eve, then we had our family party. Everyone loved my Spice Cake, and it was good to see everyone together. My mom gave Travis and I $150 for Christmas. She's not been feeling well lately, and it was easier for her than to go shopping.
Christmas morning, we woke up and opened the presents from his parents. They gave us each $100. And some clothes. Then we had breakfast, and went on a ride. The weather was perfect, and not a lot of people out. I didn't stall once! Then we went home and made a Gingerbread House. Then we had our ham for dinner. Then we went and looked at Christmas lights. They didn't have anything good on TV for Christmas.
Then Friday, we took care of Travis' tag for the van. Then went out to lunch. Then went shopping at Beals Outlet. I got a few new shirts, odd ball stuff, and Christmas that was on sale. Then we put Christmas away. It was easier to do it then, with all the new stuff, then putting it all a way twice.
Saturday, Travis picked up the 2 end tables from Jessie (they were my mom's) and I cleaned them. Then we went grocery shopping and ordered pizza for dinner. Adam came over and hung out for a little.
Sunday, more shopping, and football!
The Eagles killed Dallas for the playoff spot.
Travis was so happy they won!
Now, we're back to work. Boo....
I know that we'll have Thursday and Friday off together, but I'm not sure yet about Wednesday. Maybe a half day, but who knows...
I'm going to have to start working out again. I'm starting to notice the difference.
I know for sure that next week, I'm going to kick butt at working out, but this week, my days are backward again. Damn Holidays...
Hope everyone has a good Monday!

2 days till Christmas!

It's hard to believe that it's already Christmas.
This will be our 4th Christmas together!
It just seems like it was Thanksgiving.
Then it'll be 2009. That means it's been 6 years since we graduated.
And Jessie and I will be 25.
I never pictured me saying that I'm that old, or where I would be in life.
I'm happy with where I am. I wish I had stayed in College though.
But I can think back to a certain day and wonder if I had chosen differently, would I be where I am now?
Maybe everything that happened was for a reason. I figure it as that I had to go through with what I did, and Travis had to do the same. I knew the first time we met, there was a connection. But I never would have believed that I would be married to Travis. At that time, I could only hope for it.
It's amazing the ups and downs that life takes you on.
I think Jessie and Bobby will be happy once they get everything organized.
This may be a new chapter in their lives, and hopefully it only gets better for them!
Is it 5 yet?

Starting to feel like Christmas!

It's cold this morning.
It should be for yesterday being the First day of Winter.
But I would have to say that I like the warm weather!

We had a good weekend! We saw some friends on Friday night, went shopping on Saturday, and had a family Christmas party yesterday. And opened some presents.

It was a good weekend, until Jessie and Bobby got home yesterday. Somebody broke into their apartment through their kitchen window while we were at our party. They took their Xbox 360, Bobby's headset to his computer, Jason's PlayStation, and some money. They went through all the drawers, jewelry boxes, moved their computers. Luckily, they didn't take their laptop, desktop computers and the TVs. And luckily, they already had taken over their movies and games to the trailer. So Bobby took off work today, so that him and his family could move their clothes and their food over to the trailer. With the kitchen window being broken, and they obviously knew they weren't home, they could come back again. So they don't want to take any chances. I feel so bad for them. Just a few days before Christmas. Stupid mother fuckers.

I'm glad it's only a 2 1/2 day work week! Half a day on Wednesday!
Hope everyone stays warm today!

TGIF

Thank goodness it's Friday!
Now if only today will go by fast!
Damn Jaguars lost last night.
They were winning heading into half time, and the Colts beat us.
They need to learn not to drop the ball!
Well at least the Gators did good this season!
As Gary says (my dad) "Tebow is my hero!"
We can't wait to watch the championship game! It'll be a good one!
We have a little shopping left to do. Then on Sunday, we're getting together with Gary and Linda to exchange presents. Linda doesn't want Cory to come (Holly's boyfriend) and wants us to tell her. I don't want to tell her that she doesn't want him there cus he looks 3-sheets to the winds all the time. He was drunk when we were over there last time, and he kept on drinking. He was like that at our wedding too, so I don't blame her that much. I just think that she should tell them. I'm going to give Holly Gary's number and have her call him.
Lilly is still climbing the Christmas Tree.
I've tried orange peels, moth balls, citrus scent air freshener, spraying her with water, and I pretty much tied the ornaments to the tree. She just about gets to the top now, and is eventually going to knock it over or the star on top off.
All of the presents are now in the linen closet.
I think I might have to re-wrap Jessie's cus it's all messed up now.
Well I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday and a fantastic weekend!

So sleepy...

I wish today was Friday!
I'm so ready for the weekend. Travis and I both are.
We're still trying to catch up on our rest from last weekend.
Well, our family Christmas party is Christmas Eve now. Then Mom said that everyone can have Christmas day to themselves and the long weekend.
We're going to go find Travis so new work boots this weekend. It's his present.
Then he's going to research me a new camera tomorrow when he's off.
We're waiting until Christmas morning to open what his parents send us.
I hope I get some money to go shopping!
It's laundry day with Jessie.
At least the weather is nice. It's been in the 70's all week.
At my Grandma's last night, my cousin had her new baby boy. He'll be 5 months next Tuesday. He's the cutest baby!
Travis and I said we're not having anytime soon.
I'll be at least 30 if not older when the time comes.
Hope everyone has a good day!

Hump Day

It's hump day! That means only 2 more days till the weekend!
I found out that we're going to be getting off early on Christmas Eve, and we have Christmas and the Friday off after.
Then for New Years, we're off New Year's Day, and the day after.
So 2 weeks in a row, we'll be having a 4 day weekend!
Plenty of time to catch up on sleep.
At lunch today, I'm going to get some more Christmas presents. I'm not really doing all that much this year.
Travis is getting a nice new pair of work boots, and I'm getting a new camera and we'll share an Ipod. So I think it should be a good Christmas.
I hope I get some money so I can go shopping for some new clothes.
I want to get Lilly some new bowls and a new litter pan. She gets that crap all over the living room.
I cleaned last night and Travis made his dinner.
Then I dozed on the couch. Travis was napping when I got home.
Tonight, we'll be going over to Grandma's for cake and ice cream for my aunt.
I found New Moon online, and I'm reading while I'm here at work. I like it so far.
Well hope everyone has a good Hump Day!

Finished reading Twilight!

I just got done reading Twilight!
I love the book!
It gives more details than the movie!
Now I need to get the other 3!

Still Sleepy

I'm tired today again.
I don't think I'm caught up on my sleep yet. I dozed on the couch last night while Travis watched the football game. He's happy that the Eagles won.
I went and saw Jessie's new place yesterday.
It's not too bad considering it was only $3000.
Needs some updating, but it'll be a good home for them.
I guess our family Christmas party is changing again to next weekend. More family can come then. I forgot to get the money from Travis so I could go shopping at lunch. I still need to go and get some moth balls. Lilly knocked a bulb off this morning and broke it. So I need to find a way to keep her off it. She's a brat...
I'm going to cook and clean tonight.
Exactly what I want to do when I go home! (Not)
I'm ready for the weekend!
Is it 5 yet?

Tired

We had a wonderful weekend, it was just too short.
Friday after work, we dropped Lilly off at Jessie's, stopped by McDonald's and headed to Orlando. We got down there, and sat around the fire and talked with Gary and Linda.
Then we got up on Saturday, and headed to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. My two favorite rides are The Simpson's and Spider Man. We had so much fun. Travis, Jessie, Bobby and Gary rode the Hulk and Dueling Dragons. I didn't ride the roller coasters. Then we had dinner at the NASCAR Grille. And a drink at Margaritaville.
Then yesterday we were all so tired from Saturday, we didn't do anything. Travis and I came home, and watched some football and had dinner.
Jessie and Bobby are moving into their new trailer this week. They get the key today. So I'm going to find some boxes and go see it today after work.
On Wednesday, we have to go have cake and ice cream for my aunt's birthday. Then next weekend, we have 2 family Christmas parties. So it'll be a busy week.
I've been reading Twilight. I found it last week on the computer. It's so different from the book. I love it so much more. Now that I've seen the movie also, it seems like they rushed it. But it's awesome!
Hope everyone has a good Monday!

Yucky Weather

It's looks so dreary outside right now.
We're already under a tornado warning, and I don't think it's even raining yet.
It's about 70 outside right now, which is the high today, then it's supposed to just get colder and colder. Tomorrow's high is only 60. I'll be happy when this damn weather makes up it's mind.
I have to go pick up my car after work, and go grocery shopping, then go home and pack. I'm not going to want to be out and about if it's going to be as nasty as they say...
I checked the weather for this weekend, and it's supposed to be mostly sunny Saturday and Sunday, and I think it's going to be in the 70's. Perfect weather for the parks.
Travis went to work this morning. I hope he gets to stay all day. He needs the hours, or his paycheck is going to suck again.
I found Twilight online to read. I printed off the first half. I'm going to be reading that today. It's weird that I already know what's going to happen. I like that your reading it from Bella's view.
Hope everyone has a good Thursday!
Is it 5 yet on Friday yet?

Loooong Day....

I have a feeling that today is going to seem really long...
But at least it's hump day, that means the week is half over!
Guess what?
Travis is home today, again.
He called me yesterday about 12:30 and said they were out of trucks. So he called in this morning, and still no trucks!
I told him, I'll be the bread winner today! He said to bring home the bacon. His paycheck this week is going to be short, and next week is going to be short too.
I'm glad we have the money in savings that we saved up for the house. I least I can get my 40 hours.
It's gloomy here today, perfect day to go home and cuddle up with the one you love...
Fat chance!
Hope everyone has a good hump day!

Ready to go home...

I'm ready for this day to be over with...
Travis is already off of work. He's taking his dirt bike and the box with the camping stuff and tools to my Grandma's so we'll have room in the van this weekend. Then he said something about calling Adam to see if he wanted to go ride motorcycles together.
Me on the other hand, is stuck here at work for 2 1/2 more hours. Then when I get off, I get to go fight traffic to head into Orange Park to drop my car off at the dealership so they can fix the light and headliner. Then I get to go home and clean. So me getting to rest at all isn't going to happen till about 8 o'clock tonight.
It's a long day...

Monday, December 8, 2008

Boo for Mondays...

How I wish weekends were just a little bit longer...
They seem to go by so quick, and the week goes by so slow...
I don't feel all the good this morning. My tummy don't feel good... but other than that, I'm just tired. If I felt better, I could drink my coffee to warm me up.
It was freezing this morning. Literally. It was 34 degrees when we woke up this morning. Our freeze watch was from 5 am to 8 am. Then I get downstairs and my car wont start. Which doesn't make any sense. Luckily, Travis was on his way downstairs so I didn't have to wake him.
I have an eye doctors appointment today. I might also be getting a new pair of glasses. I have a coupon for $129, which includes an eye exam, contacts, and a pair of glasses. I have my old frames, but the prescription for them is so old. I wonder how bad my eyes are now...
I guess on Friday night, me, Travis, Jessie and Bobby are headed down to Orlando. Gary called us yesterday, and now I guess we're going to go to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. There are more for adults there and the Magic Kingdom is more for kids. I asked Jessie to ask Jason if he wouldn't mind if Lilly stayed with him. I don't want her to be by herself for 2 nights and 2 days. And he'll be home by himself too.
My bike wouldn't start yesterday. We were going to go look at some houses, and go for a ride since we haven't gone in a while. Oh no, damn thing wouldn't keep running. It had gas, and Travis even cleaned my carbs, and still nothing. So we just took his. When I was taking my cover off, there was a cat underneath it, sitting on my seat. I bet it was warm, and out of the wind. It was funny.
Well I hope everyone has as good a Monday as they can.
At least I get to leave a little early today!

Loving Twilight!

I'm so happy it's Friday!
I'll be even happier when it's time to go home!
Thanks to Jessica, I'm watching Twilight!
It's a good thing I don't have anything better to do at work.
Nobody cares I'm watching it cus I'm still technically doing my job!
I love it so far!
Now, I just have to read the books. It's backward, I know... But I still love the movie!
We don't have any plans for this weekend.
Hanging out tonight, probably with Adam.
Then tomorrow at 3:30 is the SEC Championship game with the Gators!
I hope they win! That would be awesome! We're defiantly watching it tomorrow.
Other than that, I'm not really sure.
It'll be nice to be home this weekend, with us going to be gone next weekend. It'll be fun!
Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!
Have a great weekend!

Thursday, December 4, 2008

Don't feel like it today...

I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday!
I wish today was Friday.
I have to do laundry tonight by myself.
Jessie is working late again.
Maybe Travis will come with me, but I doubt it.
He would rather stay home and play on the computer.
If I went home and saw him, then it's too much of a hassle to keep going back up there, even though it's at the end of the street.
I'm not sure what our plans are for this weekend.
I don't have to take my car in until next Tuesday.
He said they'll give a one day loaner.
I work and need a car to drive.
With how cold it's been, Travis hasn't been riding his motorcycle.
I think the kitty here at work is pregnant. If she wasn't I would talk Travis into letting me take her home. But I don't want all her babies too. She's scared of people, but has started to come around to a few of us. It would be hard to get her into something to take her home in. She would need to go to a vet and be checked out and a major flea bath before she was allowed in the apartment. We finally got rid of Lilly's fleas, and I don't want any more.
Travis already called this morning and said they don't have much to do at work. That means he'll probably be getting off early, again. He's not even going to have 30 hours this week.

Is it 5 yet?

Wednesday, December 3, 2008

Frost this morning...

I haven't done much of anything lately.
With Travis getting off earlier now, it's messing up my evenings. I used to having 2 hours to myself before he gets home. Now I only have an hour. And I don't like working out in front of him. And since we moved the computer to the living room, that's the only place he is. And in order for me to do my yoga from OnDemand, he's in the room. I like following the videos better, then I know I'm doing it right. But tonight, I have to clean... So I hope I'll get to work out at least some. I've been better on my food for dinner. Yeah!
My left contact is bothering my eye today. I can't wait to get new one's on Monday. I just hope it's not like this all day.
I called to see about taking in my car to get the headliner fixed. And when we picked up last, he said it would be about a week, and I would need a loaner. I called in yesterday, and the damn lady had no idea what was going on. Then I said I would need a loaner, and she didn't have one then. So she said she'll call me back when they had one. Hopefully they call today or tomorrow. I doing what they told me to do. I hate that place...
Hope everyone has a good Hump Day!

Happy Birthday Jessica!

It's Tuesday, and I'm sick again.
Not as bad as yesterday morning, but still not normal.
I want to change this type of birth control, but I'm not sure what too. I hate being sick every time I start a new pack, the week after my monthly bill.
I'll look into it today.
Travis was home last night. He only worked for about 2 hours yesterday. Then he goes home and takes a nap. Then he paid rent, and worked on the motorcycles. Then I come home, and he's on the computer. And I have to make him mashed potatoes for dinner tonight. Why is it when I work all day long, and he's home, I still come home and do things for him. MEN...
Travis getting up with me in the mornings is weird. We only have one bathroom. That's where I get ready in the mornings. Well with him getting up now, it changes things. He needs in the bathroom right when I'm getting ready to put his contacts in. Then Lilly is all over the place. It'll be nice if we ever get a home with more than one bathroom!
It's supposed to freeze again tonight. It was warm last week, now it's only getting to 54 for the high with a freeze. I'll have to bring my plants in. It just sucks that our apartment is so cold.
Well hope everyone has a good day!
Happy Birthday Jessica! Hope it's a good one!

Looong day...

We had a wonderful weekend!
I think all weekends should be that long!
I started a new pack of pills, and I don't feel all the good right now. I'd be okay if my stomach would straighten out.
Thursday was a day of visiting and calling family members, and cooking. First Mom and Grandma stopped by. Then Jessie and Bobby showed up. Then as Mom and Grandma were leaving, Gary and Linda stopped by. It was nice to see everyone. We had a wonderful dinner, even though it was just the two of us.
We are still eating ham.
Then on Friday, we hung around the house. I wasn't going anywhere with everyone out shopping. So we put up Christmas. We have our tree, and decorations in every room. And it's all of our stuff. Between what we bought at the end of last year, and the things from my great aunt. It's so nice and cozy looking at night with the lights.
Then on Saturday, Gary and Linda invited us out to their motor home to watch the Gator Game. It was raining so bad in Tallahassee during the game. The Gators were so dirty. But won!
It was nice. Pam, Dave, Tyler, me, Travis, Jessie, Bobby, Holly, Cory, Gary, Linda, her friend Carol and eventually her daughter. We grilled and hung out. That doesn't happen often with the 4 of us girls together, with our men.
Then we get home, and Linda calls and asks if we would like to go to Disney World next weekend with them. It would be for Saturday and Sunday. She said they would get our tickets, and give us spending money. I think it'll be me, Travis, Jessie and Bobby. It's supposed to be a lot of fun. So we'll have to see what happens!
Yesterday was rainy, so another day to chill at home!
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!
Is it 5 yet?

Happy Early Turkey Day!

I'm so glad it's Wednesday!
And we're having lunch in the shop at 11:30, then we can go home!
Travis is home, so we'll have a long weekend together once I get home today.
He was so sweet yesterday. He bought me home 2 sodas and a danish from work cus he thought it was a pecan pie for me. Then last night, he cooked dinner for me. He'll be helping me cook tomorrow too. He's good in the kitchen. Except for washing dishes, he doesn't do that too often.
I'm not really sure what's happening tomorrow. I guess I'll go see Jessie for a little bit, Mom and Grandma are going to stop by. But other than that, I'm not sure. But we'll have a wonderful holiday either way.
We have so much to be thankful for this year. We got married, had a beautiful wedding and fabulous honeymoon. We're looking into buying our first home. Both of us still have good jobs. Our families are healthy. We have been blessed.
I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
Enjoy!

Tuesday...

One more day this week left to go! Woo Hoo!
I can't wait to have 4 morning to sleep in next to Travis.
I found out last night when he came home, that starting Monday, he'll work 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.
He'll be leaving when I get up, but maybe I'll get up with him. It'll be nice to have him home earlier in the evenings too. Then when the time changes, he'll have a few hours of light outside.
I went home and worked out. I did a 20 minute yoga video that focused on your butt, hips, and thighs. All of my trouble areas. It was a guy. But I liked the video. I can kinda feel it today. I'm going to do it again.
I was counting my calories yesterday, and I did pretty good. I think I might have gone over a little, but I'm still around 1400 a day.
My days are mixed up this week with having Thanksgiving on Thursday. I'm doing laundry tonight, which is 2 days early. Then tomorrow I'm cleaning and cooking. I'm not sure who'll be eating dinner with us. I know it'll be me and Travis. My mom said her and my grandma would stop by, but not to count them in on eating. I also don't know what my dad is doing. It would be nice to see them this weekend, maybe ask about the money.
Well I hope everyone has a good Tuesday!
Is it 5 yet?

3 day work week!

We had a good weekend.
It just needed to be a little longer.
But this weekend will make up for it.
Friday night we hung out. Watched some TV.
Saturday morning, I dropped my car off at the dealership. Travis didn't have to work. But Jessie picked me up, and we hung out while she did her laundry. We picked up my car, I'll have to have a loaner for about a week, when they replace the head liner. Sweet. Then we went home and re-arranged the apartment some. We put the all the lizards in the spare bedroom now. And the computer in the living room. It's easier that way, we can close the door, and there all safe and sound from Lilly. So now, Travis can be on the computer, and I can watch TV in the living room. I made cookies Saturday night. They are so yummy!
Then Sunday, we watched some football, went to Wal-mart, and looked at some houses. We found a few we liked. And they are within our price range.
Jessie and Bobby might be moving. His Mom and Dad are buying a trailer in Bobby's Grandma's park. It's $3000. They would have to pay the lot rent, which is about $345, and pay his parents back. It'll be cheaper than their apartment now. They also want to help them with their bills. I think they should try and do it.
Help them get to where they need to be.
Well, I hope everyone has a good Monday!

Finally Friday!

I'm so happy it's Friday. And next week will be a quick one, only working 3 days.
I don't think we have much going on this weekend.
I'm making cookies sometime. Tomorrow morning at 9 am, I have to take my car in to the dealership. There's an airbag light on, and one of the seams on the area between my back window and the rear window is undone. You can see the yellow cushion underneath. It kinda sucks now, because Travis has to work tomorrow. I was planning on him picking me up. I don't know how long it's going to take, and I would have to have them drive me home. He's the one that wanted to get it in this weekend, and now he's working.
Twilight comes out today. I want to go see it. I also want to read the book. But I don't see that happening any time soon. Boo....
I hope today goes by fast. But then I have to go grocery shopping. I asked Travis to go with me to help buy for Thanksgiving. He said it's a waste of his time. It would be nice if he was like more husbands and actually went to the store. I see guys shopping all the time. He's off on Fridays. I'm not, so I go when I get off, and now with it getting dark at like 6, it's completely dark when I get home. Not cool at all. I guess men will do only want they want to do. Heaven forbid they do something nice to help out more than once a week...
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Stay Warm!

Today is one of those days...

I hope today goes by fast.
I don't think so, because this morning is going by slow.
It's only 10:30 am and I'm ready to bitch slap someone. Some lady just called and asked for one the guys in the shop. Well no one is ever in the office down there, and their not allowed to get calls. Most of the time it's debt collectors. So I told her he's not allowed to receive personal calls at work and hung up. Well she decided to call back and bitch at me. She's like you didn't even give me time to tell you what I needed and your rude and obnoxious. I don't think anyone has ever said that to me here at work. Then she went on and on. I told her how it's hard to get a hold of them and their busy welding and moving tons of steel all day long. Call him at lunch or something. I was so mad, I'm shaking. My heart was pounding so fast.
It's days and a week like this that makes you really love your job. NOT!!!!!
I'll be happy when I'm not a receptionist anymore, and I don't have to talk on the phone ALL DAY, and I can go potty when I WANT TO!
The phone has been crazy all week.
I have to do laundry by myself this week. Jessie's working 2 pm to 8 pm, so she was going to go this morning. I'll just take a book and read. Maybe it wont take 2 hours to do.
Is it 5 o'clock on Friday?
Or better yet, is yet 5'clock next Wednesday?

Hump Day

It's Hump Day, on the downward slide for the weekend!
Then next week, it's only a 3 day work week, and Wednesday, we're having lunch in the shop.
They're letting us have Friday off next week! I think this might be the first time I haven't worked the day after Thanksgiving. Travis will have Wednesday off too, so we get to have a 4 day weekend to ourselves! Mini Vacation!
I hate hate this cold weather. Our apartment is so cold. It's like you can feel the cold air coming in through the walls. The windows jiggle, so you know their loose, and letting cold air in. Our thermostat is next to our front door, so the heater is always turning on, then turning off.
I'm going to work out again tonight. I did on Monday, tried last night, but I will again tonight. I've been pretty good about sticking with the cereal this week. I had a corn dog after dinner last night, but oh well. But I've been pretty good.
Well, hope everyone stays warm!
Happy Hump Day!

Brrrr...

I'm sleepy this morning.
I slept good until about 6:30 when Lilly woke me up. Damn cat...
I dont like this cold weather. It keeps our apartment cold. Damn heater dont work right and the windows and doors dont help to keep the cold air out. I'm going to have bring my plants inside tonight. I think we have a frost warning or a freeze warning. Brrr...
I worked out last night. I did a little yoga. I'm thinking about doing some videos tonight, it makes me feel like I do more with them.
That's about it for now...
I'm ready to go home already.

Blah on a Monday

I hate Mondays...
Today sucks...
Lilly woke us up at 6:30 this morning to feed her. So I kicked her out of the bedroom. She kept clawing at the door. So about 6:45, I got up and fed her. Then my alarm went off at 7. I so did not want to get out of our warm bed with Travis still in it. It was too damn cold this morning. So I got ready, went downstairs to start my car for work, and it wont start. Damn thing. We had to jump start it yesterday cus we left the Satellite radio on Saturday night. Well since Travis decided to back in my car, I had to wake him up, have him come downstairs and jump start my car from the van. Then the rail road tracks here by work are still closed, so I had to go up another exit and it's takes about 5-10 minutes more to get to work that way. Then I forgot my milk, so I couldn't eat my cereal.
I get to work, with barely enough time to go potty, before I have to get to my desk. The phone keeps ringing off the damn hook. Everyone needs to take the stick out of their ass today. If it be in person or on the phone. And the women have the heels on the damn shoes, take them off. Hearing them click all over the office building for the last 5 hours, is giving me a really bad headache. Then they had some people here for lunch, and of course no one says a damn word to me or Toni about. Then they guy who's here visiting comes up and acts like I work for him. No I don't. So please be polite when asking me to do a favor for you.
I'm so over this place today.
I'm ready for 5 o'clock.
I'm going to go home, do my yoga, and have the rest of my Bud Lights.

Friday!

Finally Friday! Yeah!
Wok is annoying today. I'm so ready to go home and be with Travis.
Jessie and I just did laundry last night. We both go to see our men during it, so it wasn't too bad.
I'm not sure what we have planned for this weekend. I do know that it's the final race until the Daytona 500 in February. So we'll be watching them. There's a race today, tomorrow, and Sunday. And of course football comes on. Hope the Gators can win again. And the Jags are playing Tennessee this weekend, and their the only team still that hasn't lost yet. I hope it's a good game, but I don't see us winning.
Maybe tomorrow we can go for a ride, cus it's supposed to be cold on Sunday. Only up to 62. Burrr...
Toni and I are going to McDonald's for lunch. Bad I know, but it's the only time besides yesterday, we have gone out this week. I'm going grocery shopping tonight, so I'm going to get me good food. I think I might try the Special K diet. It's worth a shot, then with my yoga, which I'm doing this weekend.
Hope everyone has a good weekend!
Is it 5 yet?

Some info on Obama...

Some of you won't agree.....and that is ok....but a lot of you WILL. I will be praying for God's mercy and grace on our country for the next four years, and HOPE that we are all not ignorant enough again when the time comes to select another President of this country.......
Obama-Voters,
Let me just ask.....are you proud of yourselves?
You voted in a rookie, a FIRST-TERM senator with ZERO military experience, the experience that is needed to be able to truly lead this nation at such a critical time.
You voted in someone who wants to steal from the rich and give to the poor, someone who think a small business owner should "spread the wealth," thus putting an end to the American dream. No more "Mom 'n Pop" restaurants, they wont be able to afford to keep their doors open once Obama rapes their wallets.
You voted in someone who wants to disarm our nuclear defense system, a system that WORKS and can defend our country, should the war make its way to our shores. Someone who wants to invade Iran, which is a fantastic idea after disarming America.
Leave us as sitting ducks, great!
You voted in someone who associates with KNOWN domestic terrorists, yet has been able to smooth talk himself out of it. Someone who has illegal family members living in this country and wants to let even more illegals in to take our jobs. Oh and don't forget, he wants to give YOUR hard earned money to them while he's at it.
You voted in someone who can't even be proven to have been born in this country! Don't you find it odd that his birth certificate was sealed from being viewed? Seems to me that if you have nothing to hide, you wouldn't seal your birth certificate, right? Not to mention the certificate that did manage to surface magically was filed years after his actual birth.
Fishy? I think yes.
America, you voted in someone who wants to give you " free" health care . I emphasize the quotation marks there, because NOTHING is truly free. Yes, you can go to the doctor without paying a medical bill, but did you fail to realize that he is going to charge 40- 50% taxes on EVERYBODY for that Universal Health care plan? Yes, EVERYBODY. Even the people who have their own health insurance and will not be using his plan, they will still be paying for it. Great, I can't wait to foot the bill for some gang member who was shot, or some druggie who OD'd, because Obama says I have to.
You voted in someone who was actually endorsed by Al Quaeda, and other prominent dictators. Someone who these people actually say THEY WANT in OUR White House. Shouldn't that raise a red flag? Why would Al Quaeda endorse him...unless they have something to gain from him being in office??
You voted in someone who wants to stop helping Israel, one of our biggest and strongest allies. He wants to let everyone else go ahead and invae Israel, and you don't think that will piss them off? Israel has an incredibly strong military, I wouldn't want to get on their bad side.
You voted for someone who thinks it's okay to partially deliver a baby and then murder it. As long as the baby is still partially in the birth canal, it's "only abort ion," regardless of if the baby is full term. Strong enough to murder babies, yet too cowardly to fight against our true enemies overseas.
Great role model!
You voted for someone who said in his own words that he thinks the government should have a hand in raising OUR children. THE GOVERNMENT! Do you want the government raising YOUR kids? I sure don't, and it will be a cold day in hell before I let him anywhere near my family.
Also, everyone is rejoicing for the first African-American president of the United States...NEWS FLASH he's not legally black, bet you didn't know that. He's 50% white (from his mom) and 43.75% Arab, 6.25% African-American (from his dad). You have to be 12.5% African-American to be considered one. So instead we have our first ARAB American as president.
So America, congratulations, you have just sent yourselves to hell in a hand basket . I hope you are proud . Biden said himself, within the next 6 months America will be tested with Obama as president. I think that's an accurate premonition, and I am scared to see what is going to happen. But do me a favor; if you voted for Obama, don't whine and complain in a year or so when things are going downhill, because YOU ASKED FOR IT.
So give yourselves a nice pat on the back.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!
PASS IT ON TO EDUCATE THESE AMERICANS LOOKING FORWARD FOR THE CHANGE!!!

Sleepy on a Thursday...

I'm so very sleepy today, and I can't seem to wake up.
I already had my cup of coffee, and I'm still so sleepy.
It's kinda cloudy outside right now, with no sunshine, the kind of weather, you want to go home and fall asleep in.
I guess we're still going to try a buy a house. Travis is thinking about maybe asking Gary for some money, and we'll pay him back each month. Write up a contract on it. That way we'll be able to possibly get something we like. With the SHIP program, they have restrictions on what you can buy, and Travis thinks that the houses we like, wont meet them. So I might find a contract to write up today for that. It's worth a shot I guess.
I'm also getting the pictures I want to send to the photographer for our album. It's so nice he'll make it for me and I don't have to worry about it. Now all I have to do is get our ceremony video ready to send to AVF. That is the funniest thing with my veil. Maybe we'll win some money!
We watched the CMA's last night on ABC. It was a very good show. It seem like more people performed then they gave out awards, but it was cool to see everyone showing off what they can do.
Is is 5 yet?

Hump Day

I'm glad it's hump day, but I feel tired today for some reason.
I think I need to start eating better in the evenings, and working out more. They say if you work out then it'll give your more energy. I need that. I want to get in the habit of exercising more.
When Megan and I went to the gym on base on Monday, the scale for me said 143. That was with my clothes and shoes on. But that's more than I want it to say. I've been really bad since right before the wedding. Now with it getting dark so damn early, it's hard to get the motivation going. So I think if I can work out more, and eat better at night, not just junk food, but actual dinner, it'll be good for me.
I don't really need to loose any weight, I just need to tone up what I have and make it look good. Hopefully next summer, I will feel great in a bathing suit, and not think that my butt and thighs are too big. That is where most of my weight is, and I would like for my arms and abs to look good too.
So hopefully, I can get it going, and eventually I'll see results, which will help be my motivation!
Happy Hump Day!

Veteran's Day

Travis is a Veteran of sorts. He did serve in the Marines, but never went to war. Thankfully.
I'm so very thankful today for all the men and women who serve in our Military.
Past and present soldiers should all be remembered today, and a prayer to watch over them as they risk their lives for us.
It seems like people have forgotten about all the men and women and their families over there.
And to think that we have elected Obama to office.
I hope he makes the right choices for our futures.
Happy Veteran's Day to all those that have served and are serving.
God Bless them all.

Superman

I think I have a new favorite song, Superman 14 by Kevin Costner and Modern West. It's my first song on my profile. I love it!
We had a wonderful weekend!
Friday I got off early and we went to the IRS office and got our papers printed we needed. Then I went grocery shopping, and Travis had to drive out to UPS to pick up our package because they came while we were gone. We wanted our damn parts, not on Monday.
So Saturday, Travis was going to ride my bike to work and fix my chain. Damn thing wouldn't start. It pissed Travis off. It's 7:30 in the morning, and he's trying to jump start it. So he ended up having to ride his bike. So I met with Jessie at Wal-Mart, and we got our hair cut. I also got some hair dye. So Travis came home, and it still wouldn't start. So we got new spark plugs, and it still wouldn't start. We had to take off the gas tank, and it eventually started. So we rode over to Gary's House, a guy he works with, so he could fix it. Then we rode down Collins, to look at some houses. We found a cute one we like. It's 2 stories, has a garage space for Travis, and a duck pond in the neighborhood.
Sunday, we went riding all around looking at houses. I'm getting really good on bike. I only stalled out once in traffic, and I kept up with Travis. I'm so proud of myself! Then last night, we just watched some football and the race.
Hopefully, Travis will be able to get a whole week at work, but he said it doesn't look good. They get really slow around the holidays.
Jessie started her new job today! GO Jessie!
Hope everyone has a good Monday!

Half Day!

I'm so happy it's Friday, and I'm only working a half day! :0)
I'm feeling better today. I didn't get sick last night because of my pills. My head isn't as congested today, but I still have the blah feeling in my head. At least I'm getting better for the weekend!
I get to ride my motorcycle today! Yeah! I haven't rode it in almost 3 weeks, but my parts are coming in today, so Travis will be able to fix it up for me! It seems like it'll be a beautiful day for ride!
We're going to go look at more houses this weekend. We found some more that we think are cute on the outside. So let's hope we find one we like and it's at a decent price!
Well I hope everyone has a good weekend!

Sick of being sick...

I'm so tired of this damn cold. My lips are chapped and my nose is raw from blowing it so much. I have this blah feeling in my head, and I'm achy. And to top it off, I'm starting a new pack of pills this week. So on top of dealing with my cold all week at work, I've been sick to my stomach. I'm going to see if I can change them or something. I'm tired of being sick and worrying about getting sick. It's not right.
The damn weather needs to straighten the hell out. So everyone quits getting sick.
We talked with the our realtor and the lender. Found out that some of the houses we like might not qualify for our bonds. But there is always more houses to go look at. So we'll be doing that this weekend, but for the most part we are pre-approved. Which is a good thing with us being first-time home buyers. Hopefully we can be in one by the end of the year. I don't think I'm going to put up our tree this year. I'll put out some decorations, but that's it.
Well I hope everyone has a good Thursday!

What have we done?

I can't believe that Obama won the election.
Do those people have any idea what kind of man he is?
Or what he's going to end up doing to our country and our military?
If everyone thought Bush was a bad president, then they have a new thing to learn.
I'm shocked...

Voting for McCain!

It's election day, and John McCain is getting my vote as soon as I get off work. My voting site is on my way home, and I hope the line isn't too long.
Then after that, I have to eat a bite, then pick up Megan, and go get Jessie. Then the 3 of us are going to a Mary Kay party from 7 to 8 pm. I think we might be getting free facials and I get a $45 gift card for bringing 2 friends with me! So hopefully it'll be fun!
I think Megan and I are going to start working out together next week. It might be beneficial for both of us if we can go together. I just need to tone up and she wants to loose about 30 pounds. So we'll have to see how that goes.
Tomorrow is our meeting with our realtor, Gail, and the lender for the house. I guess after tomorrow night, we can start officially looking at homes! Which means the sooner we find one, the sooner we're out of the apartments.
I moved the neighbor's Obama sign, and pointed it at the street. Ha ha!
Hope everyone goes vote today!

Already November!

I can't believe it's already November. Seems like we just back from our honeymoon not too long ago.
We had a good weekend, just needed to be a little longer.
Friday night, I only had 2 sets of kids for trick or treating. I guess the weather was crappy, and we live upstairs. But I heard people walking around downstairs, and no one came up. I finally gave up and brought everything inside.
Saturday we went a looked at a really cute house. We loved everything about it. Come to find out on Sunday, it's already under contract. This isn't the first house we've looked at that's already under a contract. We know that once we get too look inside, and we like it, we better move on it. Which should hopefully be by Christmas.
Yesterday, we were outside for a bit, Travis was fixing his bike, and I vacuumed and washed my car. The damn lady downstairs came outside to ask me to move my car because I was too close to hers. They only way she knew I was outside and that close to her car we by spying on us through their bedroom windows. I had my doors open, and there was still a foot of space between them. She's said to go on the other side. The damn hose wouldn't reach all the way over there. So she said it ain't right she had to move her car, how we take up 3 spots on the back row. Then she tried to blame us for something she got in her tire. Go ahead and bitch to the damn office, they didn't do anything the first damn time you did. Adam came over to hang out on Saturday night, and we were showing him some of the houses on the computer. We could here them yelling at the two boys downstairs through the floor. The boys were screaming at the top of the lungs. You can't beat your kids like that anymore. Travis said yesterday that before we leave, we're calling child protective services. It's not right for their kids to be screaming like that. Then to top it off, she has a damn Obama sign in MY FLOWER BED, pointed at MY STAIRS. It's not pointed at the road, it's pointed at us and it's says "Change". I can't not wait until we are out of there. I feel like getting a McCain/Palin sign and put it right on their damn cars.
Jessie has some interviews this week for jobs. She's having a little luck, so hopefully something will come out of one. She really needs one. I feel bad with how unhappy she is right now.
I haven't felt good this morning. I woke up and my throat was dry. I've been sneezing, and my head feels groggy. I'm going my Wal-mart today to pick up some medicine for Travis, so I'm going to get me some.
It's going to be a busy week!
Have a good Monday!

Happy Halloween!

I'm so happy it's Friday and that it's Halloween makes it even better!
The house we went and looked at last night, we really liked it. It needs some work, but at least this one could be move in ready after a really really good cleaning. It's in a good neighborhood, has an open floor plan, and a two car garage for Travis. So we might go look inside some we like this weekend. So that'll be fun!
Jessie and I carved pumpkins last night. You can see them below. Mine is on the left, Jessie's is the smaller one on the right. It was fun! I'm glad we got to do them together, I also gave her some Halloween candy to pass out tonight.
Hope everyone has a good weekend!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Pumpkin carving time!

I'm looking forward to Jessie and I carving pumpkins tonight!
It's a tradition we have every year to carve pumpkins together.
We're doing them at my house and I have everything we need for them.
It's suppose to start warming up again. It's supposed to only get into the 50's tonight, which is a 20 degree difference. So hopefully tomorrow it'll be a nice evening for the kids.
Travis found a house he wants to go check out this weekend. It looks like a cute one from the outside, and it's in our price range, and on the side of town we want. Hopefully the inside isn't too bad.
Everybody please say a prayer that Jessie gets a job soon. I only want her to be happy.

My Bakery Blog

Over the last year or so, I have come to really enjoy baking.
Some day, my goal is to own my own bakery.
Cakes are my favorite dessert to make.
So I started a new blog, with cake recipes that I love for everyone to try.
The link is under Blogs I follow.
Enjoy!

Cold

It's another cold morning...
I'm tired of being cold.
I've been cold the whole time I'm at work this week.
It doesn't need to be this cold in the office when it's cold outside...
Jessie is still looking for a job. Bobby is not making things easy for her. He can be such an ass. She's not allowed to do laundry with me tonight. She'll come see me there, but he doesn't want her doing the laundry. To him, she can't do anything right. Jessie tries so hard and he knew how she was before they got married. Jason bought her a pumpkin so we can carve them tomorrow night. I think we might do it at my house, but I'm not sure. I'm tired of seeing her so unhappy all the time. I want her to be happy, but sometimes it takes time to find it. Like with me and Travis.
Hope everyone stays warm, and has a good hump day!

Chilly Tuesday

It's so freakin' cold. I'm not ready for this real cold weather yet. They say we're supposed to have a really cold winter, colder than normal. I can believe it because it's only the end of October and it's freezing in Florida and it isn't supposed to be this cold yet.
I did a little yoga yesterday. I can see how the helps to tone. You get in these positions and have to hold them, and it works your muscles to stay that way. I just need to do it more...
My friend Megan found out she had a miscarriage yesterday. She has a daughter that is 7 months old. This was her 4th pregnancy this year. So that would make this her 3rd miscarriage. I feel bad for them, she was right at 6 weeks. Hopefully someday they will have another healthy baby that they want so much.
Jessie was at the hospital with her. Bobby of course was mad that she didn't get any job hunting done yesterday, but Megan needed her. I don't think Bobby can be to mad because he was supposedly sick to his stomach, so he left work early. Then he went home and changed his oil. If he's sick, why'd he change his oil, and why didn't he do it over the weekend? Hmmm...
Is it 5 yet?

Weekends need to be longer...

Why is it the weekends go by so quick, but the week goes by so slow?
We had a wonderful weekend!
Friday night we ate at Chick-fil-a and met with Gail. Travis liked her, and I think she'll help us get a good home without us getting screwed over. She said we can afford a house up to $95,000. That's more than what we orginally thought. But it's a good thing, since the Hastings house is $93,000. I think we're liking that one more and more.
Saturday, Travis had to work in the morning. I got up and went by Megan's to give her the stuff for Kristina. Then I went to the DMV and got a new license. Then I went home and packed for camping. Travis rode his dirt bike Saturday afternoon. Adam took a spin on it, then Travis took me on a ride. I can see how he likes riding so much. I had fun on my ride on the back. Then we set up camp, had some dinner and drank some beer. That was so many people there this time. It was the Florida Land Rover Club, so we were in the woods in the back. Then something happened to the van's lights and we had to walk to the showers. That was almost like some horror movie, wondering around the woods in blackness with a flash light. They need to fix the water pressure in the showers and make somewhere for you to put your clothes so they don't get wet. It's always a pain. Then we sat around the campfire and had smores. It was so cold when we went to bed. We were freezing all night. I waited until the next morning to get out and go potty, it was too cold for me. Sunday morning, it was nice and sunny. It was a relaxing time to get out of the house for a night. Then we went home and watched the race. And had a lazy Sunday afternoon at home.
I think I might go vote early today. The rest of the week I'm busy. My days are mixed up with Halloween on Friday. But Thursday night, Jessie and I are carving pumpkins and I can't wait!
Hope everyone has a good Monday!

Rainy Friday

I'm so freakin' happy it's Friday! But it's a rainy one. The kind of day that makes you want to stay at home and be lazy. Fat chance, lol!
I get to see Travis at lunch. There's 2 houses down the road from here he wants to check out. So he's going to come pick me up and we're going to look at them. He's interested in one from the pictures, but we'll have to see what it looks like in person. They never look the same.
Last night, Jessie and I got a bunch of Christmas decorations. My Grandma's little sister died a few weeks ago, and it was hers. It means a lot to my mom and grandma and they didn't want to give it away. And since Jessie and I are just starting out, it helps us build our decorations. We got some really cute things.
We're going camping this weekend! I hope the mosquitoes aren't too bad with this rain. And it's not too cold. I'll have to remember our jackets! I forgot mine one time, and it was very cold, even with our campfire.
I'm ready for 5 o'clock to start the weekend with my hubby!
Hope everyone has a good Friday and a wonderful weekend!

Annoyed with work...

Some days, I get really tired of this place.
All the bull shit that goes on is ridiculous.
People piss me off.
I'm a receptionist and I know that my job doesn't consist of all that much. What pisses me off is how people walk in and out the door all day long. They show up late, some take at least 10 minutes to smoke a cigarette. No one is ever in their damn office when they need to be. People have their friends and family calling them all day. I can understand maybe your spouse or kids calling, but to have personal calls everyday, multiple times, it gets fucking annoying. Then no one answers their phone calls, put it to voice mail. I wish I could dismiss people as easily as they do.
The owner of the company is never here, and runs the place by his cell phone. His kids aren't any better. They don't know how to come to work every day, be here from 8-5. His daughter was supposed to help with the payroll while Donna was out for surgery. Supposedly her kid was sick with the chicken pox all last week, then she has them. She waited until 4:00 PM IN THE AFTERNOON ON MONDAY, to finally call in. WTF?
Did I also mention how fucking rude people can be. I call them to tell them they have a call, don't say a damn word to me, and pick them up. An acknowledgement would be nice.
Half the people don't even tell me when their going to be out. One guy in the back is leaving at noon today for vacation, and will be gone all next week. I didn't have a clue he was going to be out. Thanks for telling me. NOT.
People walk right by as if I'm not even important. I'm on the lowest end of the totem pole here, please dont treat me like I'm stupid or I dont know what's going on. I'm smarter than alot of people give me credit for.
On the brighter side of things, Toni has been keeping me busy! I like having something to do at work, and if I can help out Toni from her being so busy all the time, so be it!
Jessie might have a job! Woo Hoo! She filled out the application online yesterday, and they wanted her to come in today and fill one out in person. It's at a car wash, but it'll pay like any other job! So keep your fingers crossed for her!
Hope everyone has a good Thursday!

Hump Day

The week is half over! Yeah!
I've been busy at work, which is a change.
I haven't worked out at all this week. I've been busy, then Travis was home yesterday. I'm going to try today, but I have to go to the bank, and clean, so I'm not sure.
The more houses we look at, the less we like. We found one or two, we really like from the outside. Most of them need a lot of work and money, and I'm afraid that we wont be able to a lot. But with our price range, it's about what we can afford. Their either a short sale, or a foreclosure. Most haven't been lived in in quite some time. I just hope we don't end up with a mortgage payment we can't afford.
We have a busy weekend. Friday night we're meeting with my mom's friend, Gail, who's a real estate agent, Saturday at 11:15 am, to get my motorcycle endorsement on my license. Travis might work on Saturday, if they are. And he wants to go camping. Busy, busy...
I haven't felt good since I took my vitamins at lunch.
Is it 5 yet?
