Rain is coming...

It's cloudy today...

And thunderstorms are headed our way.

There's a 90% chance for thunderstorms for tonight and tomorrow.

I have to go turn in the keys for the apartment today after work. They left yesterday while Travis was finishing up vacuuming. Then we are officially done with that shit hole.

When I got home yesterday, it was quiet and sunny. No kids running around screaming for no reason, no damn cars blasting their radios. It's so quiet.

Travis said the only thing he heard yesterday while sleeping during the day was some one cutting their grass. How nice it is to live in good neighborhood.

We still have lots to unpack and figure out where it goes.

We're still wondering how we managed to get all this stuff from the apartment.

I wonder who's going home tonight on Dancing with the Stars. It's a double elimination...

I wish I could dance like that... Travis even watches it with me.

Sore

We had a very successful weekend.

We're officially in our new house!

We started staying there Saturday night.

Friday, I got off work and went home. Then we went out to my mom's storage room to pick up a load of furniture to take to the house. Then we went to the house, and I spent 2 hours removing the Spongebob wallpaper border from one of the bedrooms. Travis and Adam unloaded the van.

Then I went home and packed some of my kitchen till about 1 am.

Saturday, Travis came home from work and went to sleep. I went shopping at Wally World and took it over to the house. New shower curtains, new sheets, and groceries. Then I did laundry.

Then I went home and packed some more. We got just about everything out of the apartment. Travis has to go pick up a small load today and turn in the keys, then we never have to go back!

As we were moving out of the apartment on Saturday, I fell down the stairs and hurt my ankle. It's swollen and doubled in size. I also scratched my leg, and cut my finger good.
I figured we had been there 3 years and never fell, so the day we're moving out, the damn stairs got me.

Then Sunday, we woke up about 8:30 to go rent a U-Haul truck to move the rest of the stuff out of my mom's storage room. We had to take things to 3 other places before we finally got to go to the house. Everyone loves it.

Lilly's adjusting pretty good. We just have to watch her when we go outside. We're not upstairs anymore, and she's wanted to wander off.

The people here at work got us a new grill. It's stainless steel, with 3 burners. It was so nice of them to get us that. We definitely needed it.

Now, we just have to finish unpacking box by box.

At least I can stay off my ankle for the most part today.

Officially Home Owners!

We signed all the paper work yesterday for our closing.

It was easy.

I'm so happy that all that is behind us now.

So we took a load of boxes over there last night. And started cleaning and unpacking. There is so much to do. But we're hoping to get most of it done before Sunday. We're going to be cleaning mostly tonight, and Travis is going to install the new locks.

Then we have to paint and clean the carpets later this week.

I can't wait till Sunday when we're there for good and we don't have to go back to our apartment!

And to top it all off, I think Travis and I are getting sick.

His throat has been sore and his nose is runny.

I have the blah feeling in my head and my I feel it coming on.

Perfect time to get sick... Not.

Today is the day!

We're closing today at 3:00 pm.

Woo Hoo!

That means all this bull shit will finally be behind us!

And we can finally start cleaning tonight and moving boxes!

We've been waiting so long for today to come.

I can't wait until Sunday when we can finally move in!

I hope everything goes as planned.

I'm only working a half of day. I have to go to the bank and have our closing costs and down payment wired to the title company. Damn people are in Tampa.

Mondays Suck...

Mondays Suck...

I'm tired too.

Well, we're closing tomorrow at 3:00 pm.

It's supposed to be done today, but our realtor forgot about our survey until the last fucking minute, so they're waiting on that to come in today. Our realtor is also out of town, on the day we're supposed to be closing... and the damn title company she choose can't close today either, because they're having office equipment delivered. Did I mention that the wood root hasn't been fixed yet...

WTF?

So we're upset...

The house needs a ton of cleaning, spider webs all over the place, the kitchen back splash needs to be attached. Both bathtubs needs to be grouted and sealed before they can be used. Both shower heads are loose, our toilet in the master bathroom wobbles. The pantry needs a door, the carpets need to be cleaned, we have to touch up the paint in one bedroom, remove a Spongebob Border in the other room... A shit load of work that needs to be done.

With Travis now having to work Friday nights, he won't be home until 8 am on Saturday morning. There goes most of Saturday, which leaves Sunday.

So on March 29, we will officially move into our new house.
Keep your fingers crossed that we can get most of the work done before then.

I'm so happy that tomorrow all this bull shit will finally be done!!!!

I also dyed my hair last night. It's been a while, so it's at least all one color again. A little darker, but I like it!

First day of Spring!

I'm so happy it's finally Friday!

It's been a busy week...

We're not closing today. Boo hoo...

But we'll be closing on Monday or Tuesday. Everyone is getting all the paperwork together today, so hopefully on Monday.

We're going to be so happy to finally have all this done. It's been a long and tedious process. Now, comes moving. But since we wont close until Monday, then I can finish packing more stuff this weekend.

So we'll hopefully be moving in next weekend.

The following weekend, we'll be busy also.

Supercross is coming to Jacksonville for the first time on Saturday April 4.

And we have tickets.

Then on Sunday, April 5, we have to have our keys to our apartment turned in.

But Travis doesn't have to work tonight. I think we're going to go out to dinner. It'll be nice to go out and have a sit down dinner. It's been a while since we've gotten to do that.

But he'll start working Fridays next week.

It'll mess up our plans to move though..

Waiting...

We're hoping to close tomorrow. It might not be until Monday, but we're really hoping it's tomorrow. I'm going to call Lisa and Gail today at lunch and see what I can find out. Their getting everything ready to close, but WE WANT TO KNOW WHEN and soon.

We'd like to be able to start cleaning and moving boxes this weekend. I would also like to take my mom, grandma, and aunt to go see it soon. My mom's been helping us with the money and she hasn't even seen it yet.

Travis has to work on Friday nights now. They fired a guy, so now he has to work it and not Sundays. It sucks because now he has to sleep Saturday. And I'll be awake at home when he's sleeping. He's hoping not to sleep all day.

My mom got the results from her CAT Scan yesterday. The radiation did what it was supposed by shrinking the one on her pancreas, but it has spread more on her liver. They gave her 3-4 months to live. And in the end, she'll go into a coma. So, I'll be seeing her every weekend.

I also want to go ahead and close on the house, because I want to have everyone over for Easter dinner. I'll finally have a house to entertain more than just 6 people for dinner. And it'll be a special holiday.

Bull Shit

I'm beginning to wonder if we'll ever have every thing ready to close on our house on time.

I got a call yesterday from Gail, our realtor, and she was flipping out. She asked if Lisa, our loan officer, had called me. I was like No. I guess something is screwed up with Travis' Social Security Number not matching on his 1040. But we've never had a problem with our taxes ever, and all his 1040's have his right number on it. Come to find out, I guess the IRS sent over a wrong number for him. His younger brother Tracy, is 3 years younger then him, and his social his almost the same as his. (Just like Jessie and me). We guess they just saw T. Thompson and sent it over. So now the IRS has to fix the problem. Ugh...

So Gail's flipping out over this, causing us to stress out. Then we found out that the Seller's Agent, Bob, has the authorization to do the repairs so we can close, but won't until he knows for SURE that WE are READY to close. Which is supposed to be Monday...

Travis talked to Lisa last night about 8:15 pm, and she says she doesn't really deal with the realtor very much. But Gail's all in it. So she's going to call me and we're going to make sure that we have all the necessary paper work she needs to say that we can INDEED close on time.

So hopefully, they'll start doing the repairs soon. She said that Travis' social security number doesn't need to be fixed before closing. Or the repairs don't need to be done. Either one of them, but I'm not sure.

So we have no idea when we're closing now.

I'm just ready to have all this damn shit and stress over with.

I want to move into our new home, and hopefully soon.

These people better get their acts together soon...

Mondays suck...

Mondays suck...

I so do not feel like working today...

I also don't feel like driving all the way out to Middleburg after 5 pm, to sign a few papers then turn around and drive home on 103rd. That's the worst time to have to go out there. With traffic being ridiculous as always in this damn town. I have to go get us signed up for Homeowner's Insurance. Why does everyone we deal with have to live so far out there, and why are we the ones who always have to drive out there? I'm not going to be getting home until probably 7 pm.

We had a good weekend for the most part.

Friday night we had Popeyes for dinner, and watched TV.

Saturday we went out to see my Mom. We had to get some paperwork for the house. And we may be going out there again another night this week. Then we went by Big Lots and Lowes. At Lowes, we found a fridge we want to buy for the house. It's stainless steel and matches the other appliances. And found prices for other things we'll need before we can move in.

Then yesterday, we took the bikes out to the house to see if they had started fixing it yet. Nope. We're supposed to be closing in a week. Our realtor thinks they'll get it done this week. I so hope we can close on Friday! We'll be moving stuff in on Saturday.

It's cloudy today, and supposed to rain later.

6 months married!

We've been married for 6 months!

And it's Friday the 13th!

And we're going to be closing on our new house within the next 10 days!!!

It's very exciting!

I've been tired all week.

I've been getting good sleep, and still wake up tired.

Damn time change...

We worked out again last night. I did it on my own without a DVD, and I felt pretty damn good afterward. Better than doing it with a video. I'm hoping to start running next week. I found a schedule to build up over 6 weeks. Add that to my strength training and it'll hopefully work for me.

Travis has to go have a physical done today. It's a pre-employment physical, that should have already been done that last 2 times he was there. It's 30 miles one way to Dunn Ave from our apartment. He's mad that he's had to go up 3 times now. And it's been there damn fault. They've should have known when he was up there the first 2 times, to perform the physical. Hopefully, it all comes back good.

Bored

Hump Day

Another day of working...

But at least it's Hump Day.

The news is depressing. With how the economy is, you hear more and more about people taking out their anger and frustration with guns. It could be their family members or even innocent people around them. It makes you wonder what these crazy fuckers are thinking when they decide to do something like this. My prayers go out to all the families that have lost a loved one due to an act of violence.

We didn't work out last night. I got home and Travis was still sleeping.

So I made dinner, and took a 10 minute nap myself.

Then he woke up, and ate. Then I got my shower.

Then I started packing. I got most of my kitchen done. I emptied out my pantry of odd things and appliances that I know we won't use until we after we move. I got 3 boxes full of stuff.

I also packed up our movies, games, and my magazines. We have Travis magazines left, a few books, and my photo albums. If I keep packing small stuff, I'm going to run out of room to put the boxes. So, I'm going to have to watch out how much I pack right now.

We're still not sure of our closing date. The appraisal went fine, and the house appraised at $125,000. So now once the seller's agent gets it, then they can start the repairs. We're hoping it only takes them a few days to get it fixed. Just some wood root and broken balances on windows.

But they do know that we want to have closed by the end of this month. So I'm hoping the beginning of April, we will be in our NEW HOUSE! I can't wait.

Sleepy

I think the time change is affecting my sleep.

I got plenty of sleep over the weekend, and was tired yesterday morning.

I went to bed about 11:30 last night, got 7 1/2 hours of sleep, and feel tired today. I think it may be that it's still dark when I leave for work now, and at 8 pm it's just started to get dark.

But it doesn't affect Lilly. She used to wake me up before 6 am, now it's around when my alarm is going off.

So it's nice to know that the time change doesn't affect her.

We worked out last night. Travis works out in the spare bedroom, and I work out in the living room with the TV. I did one of my Prevention workouts. It was 10 minutes working the belly, the butt, and the thighs. So about a 30 minute work out. Then I did a few more exercises afterward. Then I made Cheese-burger Meatloaf and Home-made mashed potatoes. It was very good.

Then we watched the Season 8 Premier of Dancing with the Stars. It's fun to watch. I didn't get to pack any, but nothing comes on tonight that I really want to watch, so I'll be packing. There is a bunch of stuff that we can pack, and probably wouldn't even notice.

Weekends could be longer...

But at least it stays light outside till around 8 pm.

I love the long days of spring and summer!

We had a beautiful weekend! It was sunny and in the upper 70's all weekend long! I'm so ready for the warm weather to stay.

We had a good weekend. We took the bikes out on Saturday, and stayed home and was lazy. It's nice to just hang out. I got some boxes to start packing. I did most of our clothes on Saturday. Just things we have, that I know we're not going wear between now and when we move. When we have more space, then they'll come back out. So I get to pack up little things here and there. I'll be able to do more, once we have our closing date.

I'm going to try and workout almost everyday this week. Even if it's not a lot, I'm going to try. Maybe so Yoga, I need to get by butt in gear. I've been doing really good with eating. I've got yogart and Special K granola bar for breakfast. I bought Wheatable Crackers and a dried fruit and nut mix for snacks.

Finally Friday!

I'm so happy it's finally Friday!

This seems like a long week. It might be since Travis worked a full week at his new job. But we're both tired and ready for the weekend.

We don't have a lot of plans. Maybe take the motorcycles out, it's supposed to be wonderful all weekend. I'm wanting to go through our clothes. We have a bunch of things we don't wear, and I'd rather do it now, before we start packing.

Supercross from Daytona is live Saturday night.

NASCAR is in Atlanta this weekend, so there will be some good racing going on.

I'm in one of those Blah moods today...

I don't feel like being here today, and people are getting sick. I think I'm going to be cleaning my desk with some Lysol. Keep your nasty germs to yourself.

I have finally finished all the Twilight Saga Books. I finished Breaking Dawn yesterday. I absolutely love those books. I could watch that movie everyday.

An update on the new house:

We had the inspection done, and everything is ready to go there. Now we're waiting on the appraisal to hopefully be done today. They want us to close by March 23 or 24, but our agent asked for an extension on closing, and the seller said if he didn't it would be their fault as the repairs (fix the windows and wood root) would not be done. We haven't gotten anything in writing about this yet. So this is still up in the air.

But we're getting closer and closer!

I'm so excited! I can't wait to be in our new home!

I've been slacking on my exercising this week. I've been good with my eating.

I'm going to try and fit in some yoga at least everyday. Then once I get my bicycle I'll have my cardio.

My goal is by my 25th Birthday, which is August 14, to be looking my best ever. My happy weight is 132, and I weigh about 140ish now, so I have a little weight to loose and a lot of toning to do.

But it's a realistic time frame.

It's been a few days...

I've been busy the last couple of days...

We had a good weekend though.

Hung out Friday night, watched TV.

Saturday, we rode the motorcycles around. We signed our new loan paperwork for the house and went by Petsmart. Then we went to my older sister Lea's new apartment and saw everyone for a little bit.

Sunday I cleaned and we watched the race.

We had our home inspection today. Travis was there for part of it. The house needs some work. It seems the people who had it before us and updated everything, didn't quite do it all right. So some things need to be tightened and fixed. Nothing major, and Travis and his dad said it shouldn't be to hard to fix it. We're hoping to close by the end of this month. We'll know more tomorrow, but since the appraisal isn't done yet, we don't know. They have dropped the price $10,000 for us. It was re-listed for a lower price, and we're trying to get it for the lower price. Our realtor wants to wait till it's in writing, but Travis wants to buy it regardless.

I've been so busy at work too. I've been working on a really BIG bid for Estimating entering it all in the computer. I've had 10 different small ones for ONE PROJECT. The last set was 10 pages. We're hurting so bad for business. We haven't gotten a new project/job yet this year. That's really bad. I guess the people in charge have back-stabbed everyone some many times that no one wants to work with us anymore. Plus the people in charge are all dumb assholes. I can't wait till I have a new job. Some day...
