On Vacation!

It's time for a road trip from Florida to New York!

Another day...

I think we all need these keys at work! It would help us make it through the day.

This has seem like a really long week.

Maybe because I have something to look forward too.

I printed off our directions yesterday and it said that it'll take 17 hours to get to his parents house. That's a long time to be in the car. I hope Travis will be okay driving it all since he doesn't like my driving.

That's a man for you.

I have to finish getting everything ready tonight.

Then we're off tomorrow when I get home from work.

Hump Day

It's Hump Day, only 2 more days till we leave! Woo Hoo!

We had a nice evening last night for Travis' birthday. His interview went good, and we're hoping to hear something on Friday. I made Chicken Parmesan for dinner. Then we had a couple of beers and played cards. We had beer instead of cake. Perfect for him!

I hoping the rain stays away this afternoon so I can ride my bicycle again. I like riding it because it gives me exercise, and it relaxes me at the same time.

Then I get to start packing. Hopefully I don't forget anything. I have a list so who knows.

Then tomorrow I'm going to do what laundry we have, clean the house some, and make sure the pets are all set up for Jessie.

It's July 14!

Happy Birthday to Travis! He's 27 today.

I hope his interview goes good and he can get a job. That would be the best birthday present for him. He needs a little good luck...

Happy Anniversary to Jessica and Kevin! 2 years!

10 Months Married!

It's Monday, but at least we'll be on vacation next week!
I'm so excited. We're leaving Friday when I get off of work.

I'm not looking forward to the drive. It's over 1000 miles and takes like 18 hours to get there. Ugh...

But at least Travis will get to see his parents and get to ride dirt bikes. I'm going to try and ride on the track now that I know how to ride...

Jessie is going to come over once a day and check on the animals. It'll be too much to take them over to her house, so we're giving her some money to come to them. They'll be fine with each other.

Tomorrow is Travis' Birthday. He'll be 27. He also has his job interview. I'm hoping it being on his birthday will bring him good luck. He needs a little luck. So keep your fingers crossed for him!

It'll be a busy week...

A rainy hump day...

It's hump day..

And it's raining, so I'm feeling a little blah today...

I didn't work out last night. I got home and just wanted to be lazy. I was going non-stop when I got home Monday night that I didn't sit down until 10:30.

So I made dinner when I got home, and we watched Wild Hogs.

That is a funny movie.

I'm going to try and work out tonight. I really really need to.

I guess I'll make my birthday my new goal date. Since I go back to the doctor tomorrow for my 30 day checkup with the Mirena, I doubt that the scale has changed at all in the last month. I think it would make me feel better about my self. Travis said last night that he can notice a difference if I just work for a week. So yesterday will be my off day and the rest of the week it's on. And if the weather permits this weekend (go away rain) I'll get out and ride my bicycle. I haven't had hardly any candy this week. And I'm going to try and have salad all next week for lunch. I'm going to try and cut out some carbs some how. And I need to quit drinking sweet tea all night long. All I need to have is some at work for caffeine, and a small cup with dinner.

I say all this and hopefully for once I might stick with it.

Mondays...

I love long weekends!

We didn't do a whole lot, but it was relaxing.

Thursday we got out of work at 4:00, so I got my shopping done a little early. Then Holly came over and hung out for a bit.

Friday we worked in the yard, Travis cleaning up the mess of having the stumps ground down and me pulling weeds. I still have more to do, but it's looking better. My tomato plants are growing like crazy. My leaves look like some are dying, and I get yellow flowers, then they wilt.

I water them almost everyday. I don't know...

Then Adam came over and we grilled out. Then we went and saw Fireworks. Not a big show, but enough to help celebrate the holiday.

Saturday, we rode the motorcycles over to Petsmart. It was so dang HOT. We wore our jackets and about had a heat stroke. But if we're going to be on the bikes, not matter how hot it is, we need our jackets. We don't need something happening to one of us...

Then we had hamburgers and watched the race.

Junior was out half-way, which kills it for us.

Sunday, I cleaned and did laundry. Travis tried to get some stuff done, but he either didn't have to right tool or part, so it makes it a little hard. He's still looking for a job, but has a place or two to call.

It's supposed rain a lot.

Hopefully the week won't go by slow.
